Whilst talking with Jam Showbiz, actor Michael Shannon(Boardwalk Empire), reflects on playing a villain in Zack Snyder's upcoming reboot Man of Steel and talks briefly about the film's stunts:

Maybe a great actor should take over the world. The evil arts-funder. I'm going to make sure every culture has theatre.
.

There are a lot of stunts. But I'm not actually certain the extent of them yet because we just started. I'm not sure how much of them are going to be computer versus live action " -- 'Here's your bungee cord. Now get on top of that building and jump.

Man of Steel is Shannon's first major Hollywood blockbuster and he states the following:

I think at the end of the day, there's a lot being produced, there's a lot being made. And I think maybe the deficiency is that not everything gets seen or gets the platform to be seen. But I think there's always been that tug of war between studio and independent, between big action movie and drama, that's been going on since the system was set up.

@JM i dont think we'll get much more for a while. I think we may get a few shots of characters walking on location. But IMO they're filming alot indoors and on sets built in doors with all of the special effects and what not. So i think we really wont be slapped in the face with some news until TDKR starts to pick up steam. And they've just got to have the teaser poster/trailer come out with that right?

Michael Shannon is doing so much press that I wonder if he is ever on location for filming!! Jeesh!!

@ShadowlordSavage... Yeah it's been a while since I've seen @LP4 on here, too. Sniff, sniff... I smell a girlfriend (or wife!)

@LP4...We all missed you! It's okay, man. I know how it is. My wife sometimes comes downstairs from bed to see what the hell I'm up to. I think secretly she is hoping to find me checking out porn. But, alas, no. I am forever surfing the comic book sites. Nerds Unite!!
