Whilst talking with Jam Showbiz, actor Michael Shannon(Boardwalk Empire), reflects on playing a villain in Zack Snyder's upcoming reboot Man of Steel and talks briefly about the film's stunts:

Maybe a great actor should take over the world. The evil arts-funder. I'm going to make sure every culture has theatre.

There are a lot of stunts. But I'm not actually certain the extent of them yet because we just started. I'm not sure how much of them are going to be computer versus live action " -- 'Here's your bungee cord. Now get on top of that building and jump.


Man of Steel is Shannon's first major Hollywood blockbuster and he states the following:

I think at the end of the day, there's a lot being produced, there's a lot being made. And I think maybe the deficiency is that not everything gets seen or gets the platform to be seen. But I think there's always been that tug of war between studio and independent, between big action movie and drama, that's been going on since the system was set up.
