Cartoon Network's May 23 MAD episode features a parody of CW's Smallville in a feature called "Smallville: Turn Off The Clark."

Cartoon Network description:

"With his show ending, Clark Kent has nothing left to do – except for musical theater!"



MAD "Smallville: Turn Off The Clark" airs at 8:30PM ET.

Dude the early years was edge of your seat stuff every week!

Even Welling could play farm boy Clark good... the very start it was mutie of the week, but they out grew that... pity the show moved to Metropolis because it was an amazing show when it was actually in Smallville, hell that's why its called SMALLVILLE.

I have a friend who works for a big film production company here in Canada.

According to him, and he knows, WB was insistent that Clark not wear the suit at all, due to the new Superman film. The producers of Smallville fought back and were determined that it should be there, so the compromise was the CGI. Be grateful we got even that. Another condition was: no full shot of Tom Welling in the suit.

I was pissed at the makers of Smallville until I learned this. Now I'm pissed at WB for being a$$holes.

1st superman returns apart from the plane rescue scene boring as f*ck.

2nd spider-man 3 i can only watch the action scenes everything else sucked.

3rd x-men 3 sucked as well but i thought it was better than spidey 3 & superman returns.

I miss seasons 1-7. and really only 1-6. I didn't much care for season 7 until season 8 came along, the 7 looked great.

@WittySupername: maybe he made it up but take it from someone who works in film and television and had worked on some projects through WB. Their producers are nit picky about stuff just like that.

They wrote smallville off once after the second year on CW when the network merger failed. That's why so many people walked, it wasn't over creativity, it was over money.
