Oh my good god! Is John Schneider a closet homo? LOL. He always seems to grab a hold of Tom Welling every chance he gets! In the 4th picture down Tom Welling looks like he's bracing himself for yet another JS manhandle! I get that JS is suppose to be his father, and fathers hug their sons, but surely not in such a Brokeback Mountain way!! Yuck!

That's one of the best traits of the Superman/Clark Kent character. The loss of his father relatively early in his life. I think the show did a pretty good job of portraying it.

Welling is not Superman. He refused to study on the character and made his own version and it wasn't because Smallville was writing something weird or messing up continuity. Tom just didn't want to study the character. He still doesn't know stuff. The writers had to explain the grandma in the hospital in the finale and tell him that it was Granny Goodness and explain to him who that was. That's fine for Smallville, but not for a movie. I think Tom is getting better, but I think it's ridiculous when actors don't study their material. Routh was just a Christopher Reeves copycat. I did think he did a great job, but I wish I could have seen a remake and not a recreation of the original films.

Someone else should probably take the mantle though.

I am soooo glad John Schneider is back, but I wish they would cut his hair back to the way it was when he died. Your hair grows in heaven?!?!!? I hope he's just in flashbacks and reviving Clark from being dead. It would get too weird if he just came back to life.

I heard Welling Confirm Michael Rosenbaum for an episode or 2 in an interview, Anyone else hear anything?

Anyone know who John Schneider had the falling out with that made him leave the show? If Rosenbaum comes back and Glover comes back, the only one not in the original cast is Pete and Martha. Was it one of them he had the falling with?

I have followed this show from the beginning and it has had ups and downs but I love this show and I am not afraid to admit it. I cant wait for the season opener.
