The image you see above [Click on it to enlarge] is a screen capture from the Smallville Season 10 trailer shown at last week's Comic Con which gives us our first, clear look at the Superman suit Tom Welling (Clark Kent a.k.a. the Blur) will apparently don during the show's final episodes. The comparison to the suit used in Superman Returns, worn by Brandon Routh, is easy to make; with the two noticeable variations being the raised "S" design and the slight change to the color scheme.

So, Smallville fans, what do you think of it so far? You've waited ten, long years for Clark Kent to don the glorious spandex tights, is it everything you had hoped for?

Click the Pic.. If you haven't seen it yet... Greatest Superman ever.. Reeves made spandex look good and it does work for movies... not a CGI costume..

I hated the Superman returns suit, it was to purplish red. So if this is the superman returns suit then I guess I hate it.

I'll need to actually see it on him properly before making any sort of final judgement but from what I can see in that image, the design looks pretty spot on IMO. :)

However, I'm not sure whether to vote for "Looks good... so far" or "As long as he wears the damn suit sometime next season, I'll be happy", lol!

i think the suit look awesome and its APPARENT that the suit is NOT exactly the same as SR. the S is BIGGER which is what i like. KEEP THE SUIT TRADITIONAL>>>> KEEP THE TROUSERS.... DONT MESS WITH THE MOST ICONIC SUPERHERO EVERRRRRRR.

Welling or Routh..I will say this..

The ONLY gripe I have is that
the "S" SYMBOL is a bit to SMALL..I wish it LOOKED

When Smallville concludes this season, after 10 seasons, Tom Welling will have portrayed Clark Kent / Superman for a longer period of time than ANY other actor (including Christopher Reeves).

He may not be YOUR Superman, but he is Superman to an entire generation.

the S looks a little bit more curved not so angled like Superman Returns. So even if they said its the suit from the movie Im sure they made a few variations.
