Hey guys

So I imagine that most of you have seen the article saying that Alexander Luthor is really Conner Kent. I for one don't mind this, im ok with it.

So if he is indeed Conner....will he turn into Micheal Rosenbaum's Lex Luthor? or does He come from somewhere else?

Here's some of MY theories:

1. He's from an Alternate Universe:

yes I'm well aware that the lex from the Ultraman universe is dead and that Clark destroyed the Mirror Box, but it doesnt mean there isnt other alternate universes, it is quite possible that Rosenbaums Lex could be from another universe and found a way to Smallville's universe.

2. He's another clone

Sure, Cadmus Labs were burnt down by the crazy(er) Lex. But Lex always has a backup, there could of been another Lab somewhere with a clone that has been hiding and waiting for the right moment to strike at Clark and co.

3. Conner is Lex

Probably the most obvious theory, Conner/Lex will eventually become just Lex Luthor again, Clark will most likely take his powers away and his memory will be erased some how (Jor-El??). Something will happen that will turn Conner/Lex on Clark again, most likely Lionel Luthor will have some part in this no doubt.

4. Darkseid's Minion

It's stated in the spoiler article that there will be a "master" behind Conner/Lex. Obviously the most simple choice is Lionel Luthor, as he seemed to be manipulating the boy in the most recent episode, be its also possible that he could be a minion of Darkseid, being the main threat of the season, its quite possible he is mainpulating the young Luthor, this could turn him on Clark and co, thus transforming him into Resenbaums Lex Luthor.

These are just MY thoughts though...

or the one that died in season 8 (?) could have been a clone all along... which would explain the different actor.

I'm going with the real Lex will return. We never actually saw him DIE and remember he has that unusual white-blood-cell count which helped him survive crazy shit before so maybe he survived the explosion or had a contingency plan of sorts to escape the truck right before it exploded :D

Tons of ways Smallville can bring back the REAL, TRUE Lex =D

The real Lex will return mate. It's a given.

We got a glimpse of him in the afterlife (S10E01), but hey Clark's back so why not Lex ?
