Yep folks, Smallville is over after 10 long seasons!

Sounds like Tom Welling let the info slip while at an interview with HollywoodLife.com yesterday.

I liked Smallville, in fact I can remember watching the first episode thinking "You know they might have something here." But after the second or third time the shows writers and producers dragged themes and made new ways to get out of tying things up, I quit watching the show for a few years. Smallville got to be redundant without the payoff. I started watching the show again only after hearing it could possibly be canceled.

Smallville has gotten better, but that statement proves to be a light statement when you see what it has gotten better from.

After the shows closing I think Tom Welling should get a chance to be Superman, but I doubt it will happen. Just a gut feeling.

Oh well. I've been catching up with the show today (I watched the Warrior Angel and Valentine's Day episodes) and I'll admit that the show can sometimes be pretty good but when you look back at the past 9 years, they've really handled a lot of things badly.

The ending of this show JUST BEGS for a spin-off to fill its place. Especially with all the cool characters introduced and the people portraying them. Long Live Smallville !!!!!!!!

Hopefully Tom and Crew (writers especially) will make this last season something worthy of 10 years.

We all want Clark to step into the 'Cape', but I really want them to take their time and do it right. And by right, I mean not half hazard.

This would be what many have been waiting/hoping for. I would like to believe 'Smallville' has enough creativity and imagination in it to give us nothing less than a great and epic moment. If not, they could try to recruit some.

My request after 10 seasons: Make us cheer.

Well, Smallville start was good like the first season. But the bull they been putting on was trash. It should have been left on the cutting room floor. The end of the Blur. Hip Hip Hurray! Well they did show us a glimpse of the Superman suit, that his mother left him. They do get a plus for that. I feel that we will never see him the the suit and he will never fly, well at least they probably let think that he's flying.

Like I said before since it's the last season hope they go for a bing bang final and not get all sloppy with weak stories.

It's funny for the haters and the bitchers that for a show most people complain about it's lasted longer than most shows. How many other shows pooped out before Smallville? Kudos you Smallville bitches!

how can u say seasons 3 through 10 suck, when 10 isnt even out yet, and last season was one of the best if not the best season, sad to see the show go, seems comic themed TV shows are getting fewer and fewer on tv and to all the haters, just be glad there ARE comic themed tv shows to gripe and bitch about and think how bland it would be if there werent any

This show jumped the shark and threw the S at the same time about 7 years ago.

Sign of staying power-why has this show never gone into syndication like CSI, Law & Order, etc....
