Sequel to Superman/Batman: Public Enemies Announced!

It seems that the new DC animated movie will include a sneak peak at the sequel to the 'world's greatest' animated team-up movie!.

That's right! The cover art for "Batman: Under the Red Hood" has been released, and listed in the special features lies a title that I am personally looking forward to. The sequel to "Superman/Batman Public Enemies" now officially has a title: "Superman/Batman Apocalypse!"

The comic book sequel to "Public Enemies," titled "Superman/Batman: Supergirl," told the story of how Darkseid manipulated Supergirl into turning against the two heroes. It seems from the title they may be going in another direction. It's a shame, because, speaking for all of us, I say that I would love to see a Michael Turner Supergirl animated into a motion picture!

Hopefully we can get some more info about the second installment of the World's Finest team-up movie in the near future.

Awesome stuff! I hope it does bring in Supergirl. I think they need to start bringing her in more.

that supergirl motion movie could be used on smallville to bring supergirl back and it would make sense that she went into space and never came back she could of got picked up by darkside and she told him about earth.

Sounds cool. I'd rather see a Flash or Green Arrow feature. If they intend on sticking with Batman for these movies we should at least get a Birds Of Prey movie.

The story arc with supergirl/kara zor-el it's great, the end shows you why the geek rule of batman its believed by so many.

Didn't Bats wear a silly armor and fought Darkseid in this one? Well, either than that, I do remember enjoying the story, since it brought back the current Supergirl (who btw is fiiiiiiiiiiine) and it made us care about the Worlds Finest once more.

p.s. queue the "not another Batman animation!!!" critics ...

this might be a stupid question but oh well.

who is playing the voice of Bruce/Batman?
is it Bruce Greenwood thats listed there on the box? and if so who is he?

i've never heard of of him, maybe i have just didn't know it.

this disturbing thought just came to my mind....it better not be the same guy who did Crisis on Two Earths one.....sorry but in my opinion everytime he spoke it was like a pierce of lighting in my heart....even the Arkham Asylum game hired Kevin Conroy.

But nonetheless good to know Superman/Batman 2 is coming!!!

I wonder if they will do Trinity sometime in the future.

@azn197-Bruce Greenwood played Captain Pike in the new Star Trek movie amongst many other movie and tv roles. Hope I helped. He's playing Batman in Red Hood but I'm not sure about the sequel to PE.

This is fantastic news. Public enemies is my favorite movie right now. I can't wait for the follow up. I have both graphic novels and love them both. I'm sure Supergirl will look hot too.

Can't wait for the sequel, I loved the 1st one. Hopefully Kevin Conroy, and Tim Daly return to voice Batman and Superman. It would be awesome if they bring back Michael Ironside who voice Darkseid from the Superman TAS, and JLU TAS. He did a great job as the voice of Darkseid. Even if its not the Supergirl storyline like was done in the Superman/Batman title after "Public Enemies" I still hope they use Michael Turner's art for the animation.

Cool it Sounds awesome!
Great Job on your first article Superman7.
I hope they do go with Kevin Conroy, it's just
Awkward with someone else’s voice.
Looking Forward to adding this one to my Collection :)

@ JoshCharmley:
Thanks.
I hope they use the same voices too. They're the iconic voices of those characters. They're actually who Jeph Loeb had in mind while writing these stories, and its a sequel so lets hope!
