Previously, lots of information has been said from various individuals at Warner Bros. about a Justice League film. Some of those quotes have even come from Zack Snyder himself. In fact, there was a previous statement from Snyder where he confirmed that if Warner Bros. greenlights a Justice League film, he'll be asked to direct. However, as in the case of most of these quotes, many of them were given in interviews that were conducted months or in some cases, years prior. But speaking today (mere hours ago) at the press junket for Man of Steel, Snyder says he feels that if we're speaking hypothetically, "I feel like you need … to get Superman a little further down the road I think, before you can do a Justice League movie." And when asked about persistent rumors about a 2015 release date for Justice League, Snyder followed with, "Yeah, I don’t know who 'they' are." With 'they' being the people who instigated talks of a 2015 release date. In closing, the director's final thought was, "All I’m saying is that you’ve got to get Superman further down the road." There has been lots of discussion here at CBM about whether Warner Bros. should follow up Man of Steel with a sequel, a World's Finest film or a Justice League ensemble feature. Which option would you like to see the most as a fan and which option do you think would be better for the Man of Steel franchise? Are those two answers the same?
