1. Take Cues From The Animated Series
I've never cracked open a Teen Titans comic book in my lifetime, and with the popularity of the original series and the new rebooted version on Cartoon Network, I think it's safe to say I'm not the only one. The original animated series offered complex storylines, drama, comedy, and characters you actually care about. If this new live-action show takes some tips from that then I think it will be more than okay and actually be excellent programming.
2. Don't Make A Direct Adaptation
In my first one I said they should take their cues from the animated show and that's it, just their 'cues'. Don't make it exactly like the cartoon and don't make it exactly like the comic books. You can sacrifice source material for a better story (something most fanboys refuse to believe). I personally would love to see things taken from Young Justice, Teen Titans, Arrow, etc. Create a unique world but don't lose the comic-book feel.
3. Give Us Characters We've Yet To See
One advantage the DCTVU holds over the DCCU as of right now is they've given us beloved characters that we've yet to see on the big screen. Deadshot, Deathstroke, even Flash has been on the small screen in live-action but not the films (recently). They could really craft a diverse world by including characters such as Supergirl, Martian Manhunter, Artemis, etc. The key to having a really good show is leaving questions because that always leaves room for more intrigue and story plots.
Well that was my nerd fantasy for the day. Make sure you hit the comments section and tell me
in a Teen Titans show, that is.
