Bradley Cooper Exits The Crow, Channing Tatum A Possible Replacement?

Bradley Cooper Exits The Crow, Channing Tatum A Possible Replacement?

THR report that Cooper has left Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's remake of The Crow, and that another couple of actors may now be circling the role..

I wish I could tell fans of James O'Barr's ground breaking comic that they could breathe a sigh of relief. For although Bradley Cooper will not be playing Eric Draven in Relativity Media's remake, just wait and see who might be.

From THR..

Bradley Cooper was to have played the title character but sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that he has now exited due to scheduling conflicts. Cooper has David O. Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook shooting this fall and then dives straight into Legendary’s Paradise Lost, which shoots first quarter next year…the exact time Relativity plans on making the high-priority Crow.

But akin to the project’s rock musician who is killed and resurrected, two new names have surfaced as possible replacements: Channing Tatum and Mark Wahlberg.

Yes, as well as Mark Wahlberg who was previously in talks we have Channing God damn Tatum. I swear if you asked me to pick three actors that could be any more wrong for this role than the three above I couldn't. Anyway, it's by no means a done deal that either will take over as THR report that others may join the hunt-But that Relativity are keen to waste little time.

What do you guys make of this?

I will be so pissed if Channing Tatum is the Crow. The dude is a horrible actor and is way overrated. I cant believe they are going to tarnish Brandon Lee's The Crow by hiring this guy.

I really don't know what happened to Tatum. He seemed like a great new up & comer in A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints opposite Rosario Dawson, Robert Downey Jr. and Shia LaBouf....but just about EVERY movie since he has been atrocious...

I would say it may have been the director, but this is the same guy that directed The Fighter...

Regardless, Tatum is the last person on Earth that should playing this role...

Joseph Gordon-Levitt anyone???

I never watchd the original, but from what I've hear about it and the fact that both Channing and Mark dont fit the bill, I think its best if this project dies b4 it lives

Channing Tatum sure is getting wailed on, called terrible, atrocious actor. Good to see that everyone who's dissing him is such an incredible actor themselves. Why don't you guys audition for The Crow? Oh wait... that's right, you're shitting on someone but that doesn't mean you have any clue what you're talking about...

lmao @Ror. Bateagle must love him some Channing Tatum. I don't think he'd make a good Crow. I still don't see why there even needs to be a remake of The Crow. The original was awesome and Tatum sure as hell can't replace Lee in that role!

There are dogs/cats with better acting skills than channing "Gay"tum. I'd rather chew glass than watch this moronic actor (Can I even call him an actor?) try to play an epic role. You got to be kidding. I'd rather see ALF play the crow.

i'm sick of these fuggo actors being talked about for this movie. The producers clearly have no vision and apparently they also hate the Crow mythology.

How about an up and comer like this guy--Rain from Ninja Assassin
