The lastest episode of The Flash, we start off where we last left episode ended with Dr. Harrison Wells(Tom Cavanagh) from Earth-2 meets the Star Labs crew. The crew as well as How West immediately question his motives and if they can trust him or not, which all are justified because they all had massice conflicts with the old Dr. Wells but was actually Eaboard Thawne. Barry tells Joe, Cisco and Caitlyn that they need to try to trust him and you are the connection and influence he has over his team. Barry learns that a new breacher from Cisco's new VIBE powers that Dr. Light (Malese Jow), the doppelganger of Linda Park, has come through the portal and runs off to capture her. Jay Garrick(The Flash from Earth-2) tells Barry that Dr. Light was not a threat on Earth-2 and that Barry can reason with her. However, during the fight, she blinds him and drops some news about Zoom. Dr. Light is missing and the team doesn't know how to find her. In the previous fight though Barry gets Dr. Lights helmet and Dr. Wells tells the team they can track her by revealing a secret Cisco has been keeping from the team and that is Cisco is a metahuman.
This episode is why now is one of the best times to be a geek-nerd. We actually get to see the superheroes we've only seen on the pages of our comic books come to life so to speak and enjoy a live-action version. It gives so much can service too for us hardcore geeks that have a smile on our face the entire time because of all the Easter eggs the writers throw in the episode for us.
The episode is very interesting because it shows just how much everything has changed from a world with metshumans to the chaos of parallell dimensions. They have a guy come through the doors who looks exactly like there old mentor, friend, collegue, teammate, and enemy at the end and completely ruined their lives and are expected to trust him. Meanwhile Jay Garrick, is telling the team even though this isn't the same Harrison Wells that they know, he still has his own secrets and own agenda. The episode has many laughs but keeps yoTheu entertained and interested in the over arcing story and drama for this season. Who to trust-who not to trust-what to do-balancing your secret identity and heroism. I would definitely recommend this show for anyone and embrace your inner geek-nerd. Season 1 is on Netflix and Hulu Plus.
