THE FLASH Star Ezra Miller Responds To Reports The Movie Will Erase SnyderVerse Stories From DCEU Continuity

The Flash star Ezra Miller has responded to recent reports that the upcoming solo movie for the Fastest Man Alive will completely erase Zack Snyder's work from the DC Extended Universe. Check it out...

Over the weekend, it was reported that The Flash will erase the "SnyderVerse" era of movies from the DCEU's continuity. What that really means remains to be seen, though it wouldn't exactly be shocking if Warner Bros. was looking to move away from a time their movies were both critical and commercial disappointments (not to mention the toxic side of the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement).

By the time all is said and done, it sounds like Superman will be Supergirl, and a new Justice League will assemble. However, the Scarlet Speedster himself, Ezra Miller, has now denied reports that his first solo outing will completely wipe away Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, and Justice League.

"No power or force in any known megaverse would or could ever erase Zack Snyder's mighty wrkz," Miller responded to a fan on Instagram. "You can take that quote. Take that to the bank, to the press, to the schools, to the military, and the other pillar of capitalism I'm forgetting cause of that thing where you try to think of a group of things you always forget one of them."

While the actor's right that Zack Snyder's contributions to the DCEU will not be fully erased (some of the same actors are going to be sticking around, for example), it does seem likely The Flash will leave us with a new world and a fresh start. After all, Ben Affleck's Batman being wiped away and replaced by Michael Keaton's - and Batgirl - is a pretty significant change it's hard to ignore.

We'll see how all this pans out when The Flash is released on November 4.

No power or force could ever erase Zack Snyder's work? I'm pretty sure people can erase it from their memories or completely ignore it's existence like many people have done already.

@SonOfAGif - no one said they can't. That's not the same as erasing them though.

@BlackBeltJones - I thought it was the best movie of last year, and the premise never felt anything more than innocent young affection; they never sexualized either character. Also, do neckbeards even like PTA's films lol, he doesn't have a fan-base on the level of Tarantino or something

@tmp3 - not that the neckbeards like him or follow him but they’ll gravitate to it for the creepier reasons.

The boobs scene was a little sexualizing for me but that purely depends on the person I guess.

Best movie of the year for me Jockey, which is saw yesterday (double feature with Licorice Pizza) Nightmare Alley and Green Knight were my best until Jockey. A beautiful film, I recommend it.

I’ve yet to see Swan Song and The Tragedy of Macbeth which people are saying are both amazing.

@BlackBeltJones - Need to see Jockey, heard great things. You seen Red Rocket yet? Finally got around to it and loved it.
The boobs scene for me felt like Gary's first ever experience of physical intimacy as opposed to it being him objectifying Alana

@tmp3 - Haven’t seen Red Rocket but I hear good things. Only Baker movie I’ve seen is Tangerine and I really enjoyed it. I’m planning to see Drive My Car tonight, my last off day before going back to work. Super excited for that. I’m sure it will shake up my list. Hopefully I can at least see Macbeth or Rocket as my last theater experiences before The Batman.

Thats an interesting take.

@McMurdo - I hope I can make it. I’m gonna shut it down soon until The Batman. I still wanna see Tragedy of Macbeth.

@RageDriver2401 - This is just like when a certain actor said he wasn't in a certain movie.

Several times.

I find the fact that they are erasing the 3 snyder movies hilarious. So what about ww84 and ss? Ss had worse reviews than every snyder film.

Either reboot the whole thing or keep it intact. Imagine if marvel used that asspull with the time travel in endgame retconning aspects of gotg or the battle of new york.

Basically just reboot it with young promising actors that are in for the long haul. None of the dceu jl leads is particularly strong acting-wise anyway.
