For those who did, keep reading...

Now as you well know, Loki let go of Thor towards the end of the movie. At the ending scene (after the credits) Loki is seen on Earth, not on Asgard.

What are some possible ways Loki could have survived that kind of fall?
Well here a are a few I thought of which could of possibly happened:

1. First thought: that was not actually Loki but rather his self image. His power was shown a few times throughout the movie. Who knows if that was the last time we saw it.

2. Loki had mentioned during the middle of the film that there are other portals that even the gatekeeper does not know about. When Loki fell, you saw his body disappear along with what appeared to be a cloud of some sort. Could this have been another vortex in which he spoke of? If so it would explain how he got to earth during the ending credit.

I would love to hear some other views on this topic because we are all aware that Loki will in fact return for the Avengers. Leave the comments down below.

Also this was my first editorial. How did I do?

Simple.
The Bifrost was still open as it was falling if you remember.
Loki caught up to it and went through before it was dashed to oblivion.

I'm pretty sure that the Bifrost was just an interstellar highway that traveled through the wormhole. I'm sure that even with the Bifrost destroyed, one can still go through the wormhole, although you'll have no control over where you'll end up.

Good. I have another angle on the movie. I think there is more to Eric Selvig than meets the eye.

He did look rather dishevelled and broken when he was next to Selvig. Maybe his journey to Earth via the 'wormhole' was a tough one. When the Bifrost was destroyed it had just been aimed at Jotenhium. I think he just accessed te portals he had referred to earlier in the movie. He could well have ended up in New Mexico again, right near Selvig....oh my, there's way too much going through this little brain of mine

Maybe he will just be on Earth in the Avengers without much explanation leaving another 30 - 60 seconds where we can watch Thor and the Hulk come close to destroying the Earth in their battle with one another.

Just a thought.

I just thought he either went through the wormhole or one of his other portals to get through. Ive only seen it once so not 100% but did Agent Coulson yell to Thor (as he was traveling back to Asgard) something about being debriefed?

loki has inter-dimensional powers that enable him and maybe others to traverse from one realms to others through... i think he's the one that teleports frost giants from the beginning of the scene to steal the cascet of ancient winters w/o passing through heimdal's gate.
