Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the epic adventure, "Thor," which spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth), a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.












With an all star cast which includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Thor is set to be released in the UK on April 29 and shortly after in the US on May 6, later this year!

Lol I have a feeling Thor will wear the helmet for 5 minutes throughout the movie... Or just fight sequences.

Although I'm anticipating this movie, Sif's armor in the first picture looks like it came straight out of the Asgardian Dollar Store. It's probably just a bad shot, I've been liking everyone else's armor except for the leather pants on Thor. Still holding out hope that Whedon changes his leather pants to chainmail in the Avengers.

Who's the actress playing Sif? Any good movies of her worth watching? now that a new Daredevil movie comin out,y not cast her as Elektra or any other kick-ass role.. :D
