SpoilerTV is reporting that their is an official casting call for a character named "Marcy Lewis" and for "Warriors."

[MARCY LEWIS]

(20) Is a college student. Aloof, jaded beyond her years, she thought her internship with scientist Kate Spelling would be an easy 6 college credits. However, she's been stuck for months in this small New Mexico town and relegated to a wide range of unglamorous activities. Kate has been particularly hard on Marcy, making it her personal project to see that Marcy lives up to her potential. Marcy deals with her situation both by using subtle irony and by being an overt wiseass

6'2'' non-bodybuilder warrior? Count on maybe a few completely unknown actors being instantly launched to star-action-hero status after being in this movie.

I'm confused supermario, this is a casting call for the movie so it's obviously cbm news.

and jusme6 that may be so but they won't be the ones playing the warriors, the warriors as it says have no lines...and will likely be wearing prosthetics. I'm thinking they're trolls that thor fights.

I'm expecting Thor to be Marvel's master work, maybe because there's no going back now. A one shot deal to get a very complicated character right in a film. Comics, and cartoons are easy, this is live action without the slightest margin for error, God speed!

no..thwhtKnight.. It's obviously Asgardians they ar talking about there. "... they spread their soveriegnty across the stars" That's gods they are talking about there amigo for sure.

And this sort of answers a question I have been wrestling with.

I was wondering if they were going to have Hemsworth just bulk up or if they were going to put him in a muscle suit. I am sure by "prosthesis" they mean muscles, like they did in the movie 300.

Of course it looked very good in 300. Very convincing.

Why would they want to use prosthesis if they have the option of getting actors with real muscles? Not sure I get the logic behind this if the roles don't have any lines.

Whilst we're comparing height...Im 6'4 so cast me Marvel! One of Diora Baird's (who's hopefully playing Enchantress) sex slaves will be fine! Hang on, this isnt that type of movie is it...? ;D

Getting back to the movie, I just hope they can mesh this race of Asgardians with the science fiction/tech aspect of Iron Man, because they may have a little trouble marrying these two concepts. But I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the intent was to have a bit of a scientific angle to 'Thor', as if they're not really gods, but they ARE maybe a superior race that thinks they are gods. Anyone else read this or did I imagine it?

This movie is shaping up to have a pretty good cast. This movie better be as epic as the last few CBM's we have had or it will be a big let down in the comic book world.
