Story And Villain Details Possibly Revealed For All Of Marvel Studios' Planned Disney+ TV Shows

There's a lot of excitement surrounding the Marvel shows heading to Disney+ and a new report claims to shed some light on plans for everything from The Vision/Scarlet Witch to Hawkeye and even Lady Sif!

Later this year, the Disney+ streaming platform will launch and while a lot of original content is planned, fans are most excited for what it's going to add to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Unlike the other Marvel TV shows on ABC, Hulu, and Netflix, these will be set firmly in the same world as the movies, with Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige playing a key role in their development. A number of shows have so far been semi-confirmed while others are just rumoured, but we have intel on all of them today thanks to MCU Cosmic

The site has collected a number of details doing the rounds online about each of them and that means we have both
info on the stories Marvel is planning to tell and the villains who could appear. The Vision/Scarlet Witch, Loki, Hawkeye, Bucky/The Falcon, Lady Sif, and more are all covered.

So, to take a look at this new information, hit the "View List" button down below.

The Vision/Scarlet Witch

It sounds like this series is going to be heavily inspired by the events of Tom King's Vision series because it's described as a "suburban psychological thriller" in which Wanda and her android lover decide to settle down in the suburbs.

Unfortunately, the Scarlet Witch's attempt to give the Vision a "soul" goes horribly wrong and that presumably means that it's set after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Avengers villain Agatha Harkness may be the lead villain.

Loki

Last week, we heard that Tom Hiddleston may only narrate the Loki series and it sounds like that is indeed going to be the case.

That's going to upset a lot of fans but on the plus side, we'll reportedly see a young Loki and maybe even a young Thor! Odin, meanwhile, may have a voice cameo and the big bads of the series could be relatively obscure Asgardian villains Karnilla and Ulik.

Hawkeye

It was last October that we first heard about plans for a Hawkeye series on Disney+ and it sounds like Marvel Studios is still planning on having it revolve around Clint Barton as he trains Kate Bishop, the comic book Young Avengers who eventually inherits the mantle. As for the villains, it sounds like we could see a new criminal group alongside the villainous Trickshot.

Bucky/The Falcon

This one is described as a spy thriller and it will reportedly tie into the events of Avengers: Endgame

It's said that they'll be recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. (who do seem to be up and running again based on what we've seen from Spider-Man: Far From Home) to take on a new group along with the villainous US Agent. Nick Fury is likely to appear, while Agent 13 is said to also be a possibility.

Lady Sif

We learned about this one last week and it's said that it will deal with Sif's banishment from Asgard (which presumably happened before the events of Thor: Ragnarok) in an adventure which will pit the popular hero against The Enchantress.

Along the way, she'll find some unexpected allies, including the overwhelmingly popular Beta Ray Bill! That's something fans have been asking for for a while now and it makes perfect sense to introduce him in this setting until Thor 4 happens.

And The Rest...

Other ideas being thrown around reportedly include a War Machine series which would see Rhodey dealing with the theft of technology from Stark Industries. It's also said that there are ideas for characters like Moon Knight and Sentry being thrown around but those are a long way down the line.

Kinda meh to be honest, they had to throw out the Netflix shows for this?

I love Lady Sif so i'm excited for that. Also just to find out where she's been.

Being a big fan of Brubaker's Cap, seeing Bucky/Sam/Sharon in a series is exciting.

I like Hawkeye a lot too and the comic recieves universal praise so i have high hopes for the TV adap.

Overall, pretty happy. I think Widow should have a series instead of a film but that's just me.

I love that Tom King's Vision could be adapted someway but I really wanted to see Visions family for it.

@DnA - Yeah, I’m not sure how one even adapts it without them. That said, Vizh and Wanda tried to settle down in the suburbs long before King’s miniseries, so it may actually be taking more inspiration from the earlier “Vision and the Scarlet Witch” series.

@DnA - That would be really cool, TBH.

That's one of the best comic runs I've read.

@DnA - Yoooo what if they replace Mephisto with Harkness and make the kids Wiccan and Speed? Then a Young Avengers movie with Kate Bishop and Cassie Lang

@Chewtoy - I get the impression that the Vision/Wanda series will be based on the earlier Engelhart series, too. That would be the perfect jumping-off point for it because so many great things happened. Most important of all, Doctor Strange was deeply involved in that series. I'd love to see him training Wanda in sorcery. Hopefully, Benedict Cumberbatch is down for that.

Marvel should be careful not to oversaturate their cinematic universe corner with all of these Disney+ shows.
