I was pissed they cut out the scene with Thor and Loki before the coronation, it was beast even in script form.

I figured they never put out a longer cut of Incredible Hulk just to screw with Edward Norton, but that one and Thor definitely have a lot of stuff that could be put back for extended editions.

For the first time with anything to do with the Thor movie I am disappointed. Wanted an extended edition or directors cut.

they should put the deleted scenes back into the movie,unless they're really shit.

Marvel Studios - The Avengers (Bonus Featurette) sounds intresting.

Scenes get cut all the time. Mainly due to pacing of a film. There are often moments when you want an action film to rip along - too many slow scenes can ruin that - especially if there are several in a row.

Also some scenes aren't necessary. They just reveal plot or character that is reveal elsewhere making them redundant.

Also studios are a bit twitchy of films that get longer than two hours. Expensive to print and show and they think it puts audiences off. You can only really get away with it if it stills feels like a 90 minute film.

i knew it!!! look at all those deleted scenes that would've made the movie much MUCH more than it already was. Thor could've been a real epic CBM, instead of just a real lite fun summer time at the cinemas.

i can't wait...by the way...all the features are available in BOTH regular dvd and blu-ray, right? not just the latter...like Iron Man 2. that really pissed me off, y'know. i still haven't bought IM 2, and i WON'T buy the blu-ray, in protest.
