It has been a big week for fans of the MCU with the flood gates finally opening on information surrounding the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder. The recent trailer reveal got huge views, early images of merch flooded the web, and director Taika Waititi and star Chris Hemsworth both took to social media to share the first official one sheet for the God of Thunder's fourth installment.
Hemsworth joked with his many followers about having hand drawn the poster himself.
Now, Jane Foster actor Natalie Portman has taken to her own Instagram account to share a variant (heh!) of the poster which shows off her own hammer weilding hero. The post would later be shared on Twitter via the offical Marvel account.
The new poster shows Foster on the same mountain as Thor and striking the same majestic pose, but with two major differences. Instead of weilding the mighty war-axe Stormbreaker, Jane appears in full armor and sporting the reforged hammer Mjölnir. The tag line "The One and Only" from the original Hemsworth shared poster has now also been replaced with "The One is Not the Only". A clever change to highlight the arrival of the newly superpowered Goddess of Thunder.
The marketing campaign for the 4th adventure of the Odinson and his companions looks to be kicking into high gear, and all involved seem to be having a great time with it.
Thor: Love & Thunder is set to hit theaters on July 8th, in the heart of the summer blockbuster swing.
