1. Hela Was The Rightful Heir To The Throne
Yes. Odin himself said during the First Act of the movie that Hela was his first-born child and therefore the rightful heir to the Throne of Asgard. More so than Thor or Loki (who was not even his biological son). Hela and Odin fought together and led the forces of Asgard to victories for a number of centuries. Odin for some random reason decided that he no longer wanted to win battles, so he banished Hela and her armies for etenity. Pretty lame if you ask me to be honest.
2. Hela Was a Great Ruler/Leader
Hela was a great leader and ruler indeed. Asgard prospered under her short rule, and she only killed those her betrayed Asgard. So most Asgardians would have been fine. A strong and ruthless leader is just what Asgard needed, espcially after Odin's weaak leadership and Loki's short and pretty useless time of rule as Fake Odin. Hela is just what the people of Asgard needed.
3. Hela Was Very Powerful
Hela was so powerful that not only did she destroy Thor's Hammer without even trying, but she was so powerful that not even Thor and his minions of Loki, Banner and Valkryie and the rock monster Korg (Revengers?) could defeat her to the tune of Led Zepplin. So they had to bring in big baddie Surter to defeat her since she was so goddamn powerful. She was so powerful that even Odin feared her and had to imprison her for a very long time since Odin was afraid old man. A strong and powerful leader is just what Asgard needed.
4. Thor and Loki Caused Ragnarok
Thor and Loki were threats to the Throne and soverignty of Asgard. Thor was a reckless representative of Asgard who caused damage everywhere he went, and he was far too worried about Infinity Stones, visions and protecting Earth to properly rule Asgard. Plus he like literally destroyed Asgard by calling Surter and causing Ragnarok. Loki was like literally an evil villain bad boy who caused mischief everywhere he went. He worked for Thanos and killed 80 people in 2 days on Earth. Probs more than that throughout the galaxy. Despite his devilishly good looks, Loki was a threat to Asgard too. He helped Thor destroy Asgard by callling Surter. Both Thor and Loki were threats to Asgard and led to its destruction. Plus as seen in
Infinity War teaser, most of the Asgardians ended up dead like anyways. Way to go, Thor and Loki. Asgard had it good under Hela's rule!
That's pretty much it for this little editorial here. Hope every reader enjoyed my typed words and gifs. Just think about it. Hela was the true hero and both Thor and Loki were traitors for betraying Asgard and leading to its destruction. Just wish Hela could have had more screentime in the movie. Oh well. C'Est la Vie.
