What If: Colm Feore Were To Play The Red Skull In Thor?

As I was scouring the internet for comic book movie information, I ran across an interesting idea. What if Feore was to play a villain to bridge Asgard to the Earth's realm?

One has to give credit where credit is due. This from MTV.news:

"There are plenty of other villains that Feore could assume, but given the secrecy of his character, one might guess that he'll have a connective role between "Thor" and the other Marvel Studios films. How cool would it be if Feore simply had a cameo as the Red Skull paving the way for the following summer's "The First Avenger: Captain America"? He'd be absolutely perfect for that role."



Secrecy indeed, you know it's under wraps when the actor who gets the role doesn't get a script. This is all hush hush and will be big news once it is finally official. I think this is a great idea and one that could very well pan out. Well ComicBookMovie.com fans, would Feore be a good fit for the Red Skull role? Do you think this will happen? Its a really interesting idea but after seeing Colm Feore in 24 (the only thing Ive actually seen him in) I dont think he could pull off playing Red Skull - in my opinion, the actor they choose to play the Red Skull has to have more of a villainous feel to them - something this guy definitely didnt have when i aw him in 24! :)

lol... I like Day-Louis in anything, but I don't see him willingly doing a comic movie. Mads is more attainable, he's getting established and needs the exposure a CBM would give him so he'd be the more likely of the two to take the part. And Mads has some of the coldest eyes in the world and plays a damn good villain.

I agree with you on Feore as Mephisto, I could totally see that. I was really sad that Peter Fonda didn't own that role, but he wasn't given a lot to work with in Ghost Rider

Trust me, after "Strom of The Century" and "Chronicles of Riddick", Colm can be a kick ass villain!!! I wouldn't bitch one bit if he was Red Skull!!! :))

Who says Thor is shown in present day time? Maybe when he goes to Earth it's the 1940's and there's just kind of a little tease of what the Cap movie will be about. Just a guess...

red skull wouldn't be in thor, at least i don't think so. i love the red skull though, he's like the most evil character ever...he's such a bastard, lol. but i would rather he get introduced in the cap movie. they don't need a villain to bridge the gap to the real world, loki can be planning to invade our realm. it doesn't need to be an earthbound villain too.

i'm still wondering about thor. i'm really excited to see it, but i'm not sold on helmsworth.

Loki is the God of Mischief. He likes to annoy Thor it's his main goal. To annoy the crap out of Thor for all eternity. Disguising himself as Red Skull and creating havoc is def up his ally. Of course it is a stretch, but it would be a cool part of the story. Maybe Thor had a take in why Captain America was such a success.
