Explosive New TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT Trailer Sneak Peek Released

Would footage from a Michael Bay Transformers movie be anything other than explosive? Perhaps there's something to be said for consistency as the Transformers film franchise approaches a decade.

There's a new Transformers: The Last Knight trailer set to be released next Wednesday, but Paramount has already released a quick 20-second teaser. It seems Anthony Hopkins' Sir Edmund Burton is part of some secret society that has kept the history of Transformers a secret for 1,000 years. This quick tease is likely an indication that we'll learn more about the film's plot when the new trailer is released.

Hopefully, this pseudo-retcon that Transformers have existed on Earth for centuries will have a plausible explanation as none of the previous Transformers films have firmly established that more than a scant few Autobots and Decepticons have ever visited the planet.

Transformers: The Last Knight  will be released on June 23, 2017 by Paramount Pictures in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D.

Reboot please, and have it take place on Cybertron with no humans. Only good one was the first, and as much as I love Marky Mark, this is clearly a paycheck (a great one im sure!) movie and it shows. The one thing I always respect from this franchise is the autobots effects, and that is about it. Would just love to see non stop battles on Cybertron and such, not on Earth with humans.

@Menks123 - even if they dont reboot, they are doing a movie set in Cybertron, which will be written by the same guys that are doing Ant-Man and the Wasp

@Menks123 -
Sadly the Cybertron based movie, entitled 'Transformers One' is going to be an animated movie... so effectively pointless considering how many other animated portrayals of Transformers spend most the time on Cybertron.

Was hoping it would be live action.

Scrolling on a mobile I'm constantly hitting "block" or "report comment" because of their placement on either side the screen.

Should I be middle scrolling?
