It's hard to tell the good guys from the bad in these Transformer: Combiner Wars prequel comics. After watching installments featuring Optimus Prime, Victorion and Starscream it's apparent that there are a lot of different factions in play, all with their own goals and agendas which promises one thing - the War is far from over. Below, check out the last installment, which focuses on the vengeful Windblade. The animated series from Hasbro and Machinima kicks off in earnest next week on August 02.

In anticipation of the upcoming 3D animated series Transformers: Combiner Wars, Machinima presents the motion comic 'Prelude to Transformers: Combiner Wars – Windblade'.

Once an official 'City Speaker' to the gigantic 'Titans', Windblade is tired of the bureaucratic non-action of the Council, who seem to sit idly while her people and her cities on Caminus perish. She decides that the only way to end the Combiner Wars is to take matters into her own vengeful hands. The full series will be 8 episodes, coming to you Aug. 2!

@Darriann - So after the series, and they go back to Cybertron. An Alternate telling form from the G1 cartoon and definitely not the comics.
