Shia LaBeouf Admits Revenge of the Fallen Could Have Been Better!

LaBeouf gives his opinion on the controversial sequel!!!

While a loyal supporter of the film during press junkets. Shia LaBeouf, Sam Witwicky from the Transformers film series, has expressed his belief that the film "missed the mark."

Here's the article in full:

"Shia LaBeouf, who plays Sam Witwicky in Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen admits that the sequel was a little 'confused' and he often didn't know what was happening on-set, he reveals to FHM Magazine.

He also believes the film 'missed the mark' and 'couldn't see what the **** was going on...with certain robots,' reports Monsters and Critics.

He disagrees with some of the choices in the story and would have liked it better had it not gone that way.

He did not specifically say which scenes.

Despite his unhappiness over the sequel, he is faithful to the franchise, and Director Michael Bay, saying that he is 'dedicated to making the best movie we possibly can, and we're not going to miss next time [with Transformers 3].'"

So the audience wasn't the only one conflicted with Revenge of the Fallen. That is a sigh of relief for many members of this site.

Me personally, while the movie had it's potholes, ROTF was definitley better than X-men Origins: Wolverine and Terminator Salvation. I honestly don't understand how some could the film complicated, but that's just me.

Thanks to Tformers for the info and stay tuned for Part 4 of my Spider-man story coming to an article near you!

Heh, he complains about this and offers no remark on the shoddiness of Indie and the Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Not that I’m saying he’s wrong about Trans2, but come on. Call a spade a spade.

Lol, embrace the novus tempus Tyler.

Well, with Michael Bay being a terrible director and the movie being about alien robot who hide as cars... I don't know what he thought he was missing the mark on. Stuff blew up, robots died, that's what people went to see.

I watched it for the first time last week and really enjoyed it! I didnt find the story confusing and although some of the robots looked so similar it was hard to tell who was who I didnt find any of the fight scenes confusing. It looked [frick]ing stunning on blu-ray as well. :)

I really wish these people would get off their high damn horse and just shut the hell up. ROTF was FUN. It's not supposed to be an Oscar flick. Either go direct a gay cowboy flick yourselves and let us folks who just want to enjoy a fun movie be or STFU. Dadgummit.

how comes its taken shia labeouf so long to come out with this comment, when most of the fans new this after sitting through the two & half hour abortion at the cinema.
@ shazam171 that is sheer brilliance, that would of made transformers 2 alot f***ing better.

Terminator Salvation and Wolverine had their problems but they were no where near as bad as Transformers 2! Especially Terminator, it was pretty decent as just an action movie, it had some well directed and pretty clean looking shots, Transformers was all over the place and was just all around a horrible, horrible movie for so many reasons.

dang that tumbler autobot is friggin' awesome lolz.

and about michael bay and the TF movies: i actually thought the first movie was pretty cool for a big budget action film. it looked fantastic, the plot had a beginning, a middle, a climax, and an end that gave some resolve. it was just a fun action movie.

that said, i'm not sure what happened with TF2. probably the same thing as x-3: they thought they had to hit us with every character in the massive franchise, which is not usually a good recipe for success in a 2 hr movie.

Terminator Salvation was better than Transformers 2 story wise, but action wise, T2 wins of course. Wolverine story wasn't bad, it was just the messed up side characters, that's it. Oh and Wolvie's really fake CGI claws lol.

I liked Salvation and Origins better than ROTF. Every single thing about that movie was overkill.

Multiple characters don't make movies suck, writers who can't write them do.

I forgot about the writers strike... It probably was what made the story so weak.

Transformers: ROF sucked big time. The Plot was stupid, there was no character development, and the especial effects were confusing. I could never tell which robot was on screen.
