While a loyal supporter of the film during press junkets. Shia LaBeouf, Sam Witwicky from the Transformers film series, has expressed his belief that the film "missed the mark."
Here's the article in full:
"Shia LaBeouf, who plays Sam Witwicky in Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen admits that the sequel was a little 'confused' and he often didn't know what was happening on-set, he reveals to FHM Magazine.
He also believes the film 'missed the mark' and 'couldn't see what the **** was going on...with certain robots,' reports Monsters and Critics.
He disagrees with some of the choices in the story and would have liked it better had it not gone that way.
He did not specifically say which scenes.
Despite his unhappiness over the sequel, he is faithful to the franchise, and Director Michael Bay, saying that he is 'dedicated to making the best movie we possibly can, and we're not going to miss next time [with Transformers 3].'"
So the audience wasn't the only one conflicted with Revenge of the Fallen. That is a sigh of relief for many members of this site.
Me personally, while the movie had it's potholes, ROTF was definitley better than X-men Origins: Wolverine and Terminator Salvation. I honestly don't understand how some could the film complicated, but that's just me.
Thanks to Tformers for the info and stay tuned for Part 4 of my Spider-man story coming to an article near you!
