During his time on The Walking Dead, T-Dog became something of a joke to fans as his, well, uselessness became one of the biggest talking points in a mostly uneventful (but still very good) second season. However, IronE Singleton was finally given a chance to shine this year before quickly being dispatched in the latest episode as he was first bitten by a walker and later sacrificed himself to a whole group of them in order to save Carol. "I am totally and completely satisfied in how the show went," the actor told Comic Book Resources. "It's not my call to really say that I wanted more or less or anything like that."
As for how he discovered that his time on the show would be coming to an end, he reveals that it was just as surprising to him as it was to those who tuned in on Sunday night. "I didn't have a say directly, but I'm wondering if the execs were just listening to my interviews. I was asked, if T-Dog dies, how would I like to get to die? I said, 'Just heroically. To go out a hero the way T-Dog did very special to me." However, that doesn't mean he wasn't pleased with how his time on the show ended! "As far as getting my flesh ripped apart by zombies, it's really fun. You should try it sometime," he laughed before adding, "Maybe Merle can have that encounter with T-Dog zombie! That would have been special."
