Robert Kirkman Teases A "Deadly" THE WALKING DEAD Midseason Finale
Only 2 episodes to go until AMC's zombie drama takes a break for the holidays, and we know to expect a few shocks here and there. Find out what the show's exec producer had to say to THR about that, and be sure to take our "who's next for the chop" poll while you're at it.
Last night's ep of The Walking Dead was a slow-burner for sure, but there was plenty of interesting character moments for two of the show's most popular bad-asses; Daryl and Carol. The end saw Carol knocked down and captured by the hospital folk, and Noah returning to the church with Daryl to regroup and plan a rescue. It looks like we're in for another human-to-human stand-off, but Robert Kirkman reckons it won't be anything like the previous ones. "This confrontation is definitely going to be substantially different from the confrontation with The Governor or Gareth," the comic creator and show executive producer tells THR. "We do continue to evolve these human-to-human conflicts in very interesting ways and this is no different. There's going to be some pretty unexpected events in our midseason finale, which is as it should be. On scale of one to 10, I'd say [the midseason finale is] pretty deadly." As per usual with The Walking Dead, it sounds like at least one of our main characters won't be back after the break, but who could it be? Take our poll below and then sound off in the usual place.
