THE WALKING DEAD: Promo For Next Week's Episode Introduces Alicia Witt's Character

Rick and co. seemed to have the upper hand at the end of tonight's action-packed episode, but next week they'll find themselves at the mercy of the Saviours. Check out a promo for "The Same Boat"...

Well, in between Rick punching a decapitated zombie head in the nose and Hozier playing us out at the end, that was quite a lot of violence. On tonight's instalment of The Walking Dead the group stormed the Saviours' compound and murdered the shit out of them - but Carol and Maggie were taken captive by a few they must have missed, led by Alicia Witt's character.

How about Glenn spotting those pictures of corpses with their heads bashed in? Some Lucille foreshadowing, perhaps? Anyway, take a look at the promo for next week's episode and let us know how you think they're gonna get out of this one.

At first I wasn't sure the ladies were actually with the saviors, but how else could you explain the Savior having the walkie talkie in the compound.

They LOVE tickling that Glenn funnybone don't they. I'm thinking TV Negan will be more brutal. The TV Survivors seem more coldblooded to me than the comic ones. I can't imagine how Negan will be. There wasn't the bashed head polaroid pictures in the comic, right? That's some harsh stuff right there.

The way they made the cloud look like Lucille LOL...I can't wait

They're definitely setting up Negan coming through with Lucille and exacting some brutal revenge....blowing up his crew and then coming onto his turf and murdering even more....after tonights episode,my list of victims has narrowed down to Daryl,Abraham and Maggie...I'm thinking 2 of the 3 will be killed by the seasons end.

@Chekkarma - I was thinking the same thing but after tonight's episode, I am positive it's going to be Morgan who gets it.

@theusualsuspect - I can see Morgan meeting the barbed end of Lucille..as a last ditch effort towards his "All life is precious" mantra, he sacrifices himself to save Carol.

@Chekkarma @theusualsuspect - I still think it'll be Glenn, unless it's misdirection, it was interesting that he was the one to look at those photos of peoples heads bashed on the wall during the raid. Between the baby thing, Maggie being the one to say "this is going to cost us", him narrowly avoiding death all season, and him finding those pictures of what appear to be people who have met Lucille. I think it's going to be him.

Negan is the big bad for season 7...i guess. They'll wait until the last episode of this season to actually show him...and then it's Lucille mania.

damn, stabing people in their sleep was some hardcore ruthless shit even for someone like Rick. They totally had it coming though.

I don't remember if it was posted here so for those who care:
The showrunner said they would film Negan scenes twice so one way or another we can have a comicbook faithful character at least in the DVD in case AMC doesn't let them show on TV all of Negan's "charm"

SPOILERS: (Maybe....Kinda?..)

Rick and Gang go to rescue Carol and Maggie. They do not succeed. They all get cornered and captured. He has his men bring out Rick and Gang to watch their people die to make things square.

Negan asks who the leader is, no answer. "You didn't really think you were going to get through this without being punished did you? ..Line them up" He puts them all to their knees.

Rick makes a comment to Negan and it doesn't go over well. Negan begins to say "Eeny Meeny Miny Moe" and Daryl makes a comment to him and Negan recognizes him from a 2 months ago after blowing his Saviors up, which he witnessed.

"You are it......Bring him up"

Negan then bashes Daryl's head in. We see Negan swinging over and over, and after each swing, we see a characters reaction to it. Rick is the last face we see, more devastated then he has ever been. The final shot is of Negan laughing with one more swing, cut to black.

@tonyc - that some fan fic or actual [frick]ing spoilers?

@silverhawk - theory-crafting. Daryl isn't in the comics, so none of that is from the books, and I can only imagine tonyc hasn't seen next weeks episode......

BTW, why was that savior whistling happy birthday...could that be like Negan's theme or something

So if Carol and Maggie are the only two captured, I would assume it's safe to say that Carol will be the one killed off? I couldn't imagine AMC killing off a pregnant woman on their main television series - the backlash would be too much.

I thinkDaryl is a dead at the end of the season he will give him self up for carol. negan will want him since he killed his team

@Grodd87 - Glenn being the one to look at those pictures last night hanging up was some pretty blatant foreshadowing in my opinion. They've been building up his death to me.

There's still 4 episodes left. They're not going to keep Carol & Maggie captured that long. They're going to get out of it and reunite with the group and they will think they killed all of the Saviors. Everything will seem hunky dory and they'll have their food. Then on the way back from Hilltop they'll get captured and then in the finale somebody meets Lucille. Next week will be just a women's power episode. Carol & Maggie vs the Savior chicks.

Kman - 3/7/2016, 7:27 AM
@CplHicks - I can agree with this synopsis... Sounds logical to me.

Last night was tense!! There were a few times I held my breath. This may come off brutish but them going into Negans compound and muderlizing folks was scary and also very gangster.

I think Tara may die too. Aside from her, i'm not 100% on anyone.

@chekkarma duuuude i so think it'll be between daryl and maggie, those 2 are the only significant characters you could kill that would damage the hell out of the group,
