THE WALKING DEAD Season 7, Episode 8 Promo And Sneak Peek; "Hearts Still Beating"

Things got seriously twisted in tonight's episode of The Walking Dead, but a war may be about to begin in next week's midseason finale as tensions rise and Negan makes his presence felt in Alexandria. The synopsis for this episode doesn't reveal an awful lot, but teases: "Negan’s unwelcome visit to Alexandria continues as other members scavenge for supplies; things quickly spin out of control."

What did you guys think of Carl's tour in The Walking Dead? Did it do the comic books justice? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on that and the sneak peeks below in the usual place.

This show has gotten so bad. I use to like Jeffrey Dean Morgan, but this, is so damn bad I can barely stand it. I shouldn't be wanting to fast forward through scenes with the biggest villain ever of the show. This is making the governor look like Hannibal Lector or Ledgers Joker in comparison. Damn. I can't believe how bad it's gotten

@KaioKen - That was a whole lot of nothing you just said. You literally described everything is bad three times in one paragraph. There has to be way for you to express your distaste that isn't just blind insults. By my count, you have the liberal use of the word bad, and then you go into some generic trash talk without any descriptors as to WHY you feel this way. Saying you want to fast forward or he makes such and such look like so and so isn't the same as explaining WHY the performance is so horrendous. It almost like you didn't watch the episode at all and just want to post something negative about a show you tuned out of a long time ago to make it seem worse than what it is. But that would be crazy talk, right? There is no way that an upstanding guy on the internet would try to influence negativity with such hyperbole, is there?

@Objectivelybiased - lol, you made? The show has gotten stale and Negan is a one note generic "evil" man who everyone obeys though they all hate him. The show is tiresome now. I don't know why you seem to take that personally but millions of previous fans feel the exact same way. Read the reviews. Look at the ratings. Pull the stick out if your ass. Lol

@KaioKen - agree. Negan says the same things over and over again. He isn't intimidating. Hell he is what, 170 pounds with that crusty leather jacket on. Bad writing also. Carl goes there to kill him but when he unloads upon exiting the truck he stops at Negan. WTF?!? Stupid.

@KaioKen - I sometimes feel that there are a lot of people who jump on a bandwagon when it comes to pop culture so it is difficult for me to take a lot of criticisms seriously.

I [frick]ing love Negan. But then I loved the Governor too, and didn't get the criticism. For me the show is best when it's got some heavy hitting villains to focus up the plot. Without that, it kind of wanders. Negan is pretty over the top but I love villains who seem to enjoy their villainy. The devil has always been my favourite bad guy. Negan is about as close to that as you can get without calling him Lucy.

I'm sorry to offend, but how can you all continue to watch this?
I was a fan of the first several seasons, but after a while I realized it was the same self engrossed thing over and over again that was just depressing and useless. Zombies and people trying to survive, that is it. You can extrapolate on that all you want, but it remains the same. So many people that were fans of the first few seasons have drifted away because of this continuous nature. How zombies are still a thing, along with vampires, is retarded. There are only a certain number of things you can do with such, and yet you people gobble this shit up like it is some golden gift of life. And some may try to relate this to superhero movies, but they can exist in every genre with substance.
But please, τυφλά συνεχίσει.

@micsy - I totally agree. Last night's episode was so bad for me, I stopped watching it when Carl started singing. It was too unbelievable to withstand. In real life, a person in Carl's position with that machine gun would have mowed down everything in his sight. Not let himself get captured only to turn into a singing wimp by the man he professes to hate so much. It was just sickening to watch. Also, I know this show is following the path of the comic, but it's incredibly boring now to watch a bunch of people just day-to-day surviving without any kind of resolution to the zombie plague coming. I am so tired of this show being touted as the best on TV. I'm sorry - it's not.

last episode brought me hope for this show again... i love TWD but why they keep doing that? they left one or two good episodes for the end, after completely boring and useless episodes... this is not a porn movie, for fück sakes! it's irritating and dishonest

They should have left out Michonne's cgi blade and used that money to digitally alter Coral's eye socket... because that looked fake as hell! I've seen better fx appliances in the halloween aisle at Walgreens.

Yep, anytime you cut on "horror television" to fall asleep, something is wrong. Also, screw Comcast for not allowing ff on any part of this stale ass episode. JDM moves around like a puppet in a rocking chair. He is a evil Woody. My two cents...

I like how everyone is comparing the finale of the first season of a hit TV show as better than the mid season finale of a hit TV show in it's 7th season.
It's almost like.... most shows are generally better when they start off?

Although hat's off to Westworld taking a full year to put out the next season. That's actually brilliant, bold yes, but still brilliant. Plus, there are enough shows out there to watch in between.
