Based on one of the most successful and popular comic books of all time, written by Robert Kirkman, AMC’s The Walking Dead captures the ongoing human drama following a zombie apocalypse. The series follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln (Love Actually, Teachers, Strike Back), who are traveling in search of a safe and secure home. However, instead of the zombies, it is the living who remain that truly become the walking dead. Jon Bernthal (The Pacific, The Ghost Writer) plays Shane Walsh, Rick's sheriff's department partner before the apocalypse, and Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break), is Rick's wife, Lori Grimes. Additional cast include: Laurie Holden, Steven Yeun, Norman Reedus, Jeffrey DeMunn, Chandler Riggs, Iron E. Singleton and Melissa McBride. Guest stars include: Lauren Cohan, Scott Wilson and Pruitt Taylor Vince.

The Walking Dead stars: Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Laurie Holden, Jeffrey DeMunn, Scott Wilson, Emily Kinney, Sarah Wayne Callies, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus, Iron E. Singleton, Madison Lintz, Danai Gurira, Melissa Suzanne McBride, Michael Rooker, Lauren Cohan, Vincent M. Ward, Chad L. Coleman, and David Morrissey.

Very uneven episode. Rick's scenes were good and Abraham is an interesting guy, the rest fell pretty flat.

@ Supercat

Only two episodes left then I will be sad to see the show end since it is only a mini series......

I was thinking the same thing. I really hate that it's a mini-series.

@ Supercar true but on the other hand I am glad it will not drag out like other shows. The Mentalist dragged on and the sizzle fizzled out.........

@JoeMomma29

It's not a mini-series. It's an anthology. The cast and story changes every season.

Yeah if you Google True Detective a mini series there are several articles form the LA Times to the Hollywood reporting saying it is strictly a Mini Series. The Director/Write is on board to write and direct other projects for HBO after this series ends.

Was I the only one who was rooting for the scientist dude to die? I would laughed if it did happen like when it happened in WWZ.

Yeah, the "scientist" Eugene is going to wear on my nerves. Poor Abraham's just sold on the idea.

Liked the suspense with Rick, and how Michonne is developing.

Eugene "listen to me Im smarter".... says the dumbass that just shot a hole in the trunks gas tank and almost shot the group walking with him. Ever thing to just yell "ZOMBIE" really really load and maybe shot the gun in the air once and then run to the group or something else. "Listen to me, I have a mullet."

loki668 - 2/23/2014, 11:25 PM
Aw crap. I looked back. Damn. Does that mean I win the consolation mullet? I'm still wondering why the idiot didn't just yell "INCOMING!!" That would have gotten everyone's attention.

The show was alright but it could do a better job looking more like a genuine post apocalypse world.
The mullet guy in a world supposedly gone to hell for 4 years is a real laugh. Exactly how and why would the Porter M.F. find time to spend on his hair?? Was he styling it as they drove?

And how is Ford keeping his hair cut like that? Can't do that with scissors.

The bust their asses on this show and it sucks that they spend hours creating authentic looking bodies and CGI gore only to blow the illusion with spiked hair, well groomed beards and now a mullet. After 4 years in that world no one would give a f*** about a hairstyle. And without electricity they wouldn't be able to trim beards and do a buzzcut.

Watching a show about a zombie apocalypse, but the unbelievable shit is how a guy maintains a mullet. Joking guys, in case you couldn't tell. This type of stuff has been the norm since the first episode. How many neighborhoods have they been to that still have perfectly manicured lawns. We just have to let it go.

Re: "True Detective":

"True Detective's first season will follow the the 17-year hunt for the killer with following seasons replacing the cast and story -- a similar format that FX has employed for its freshman hit American Horror Story from Glee co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk."
