THE WALKING DEAD: Watch Carol Infiltrate The Saviors' Outpost In A Teaser For Season 8, Episode 4: "Some Guy"

The latest episode of The Walking Dead ended on a brutal cliffhanger, and the preview for next week's episode hints that the action is only going to get more intense. Watch the new teaser after the jump...

In a new teaser for the next episode of The Walking Dead, "Some Guy," it looks like Carol could be in some danger.

Take a look:

The teaser ends with Carol putting her hands up and seemingly surrendering to one of Negan's men. Since the theme of this season is war, there's a good chance that we'll see some more characters get killed off soon, even though Carol seems pretty safe based off everything her character has been through so far.

Also, after the Kingdom was ambushed at the end of the last episode, it's fitting that Ezekiel provides the voice over for this teaser.

What do you think is going to happen next week? Comment below.

Nahhhh.. Carol always seems to pull a MacGyver move out of her sock and eyelash to save the day. Miraculously.

This season is dragging on. Even though there is more action, we don't need 20 minutes of characters being brought back from the past only to be killed off in the same scene. We also don't need characters betraying everything thing they stood for only to set themselves up for failure down the road. The series needs to have an end game soon. Not sure how many years Maggie can be 2 months pregnant.

Can someone tell me I haven't missed anything after 4 episodes? I watched the first episode and pledged I was done watching until they actually go head to head with Negan and stop all the pussy-footing of season 7, which now seems to be carrying into season 8.

@GeneralZod - Nope. Father Gabriel and Negan are still playing footsie in the dark while surrounded by zombies. Jesus continues to prove how much of an anti Christ he is. He went from encouraging Ricks group to slaughter the Saviors in exchange for desperately needed food instead of telling Ricks group about the Kingdom and their abundance of food. Now he is trying to protect as many Saviors as possible. Rick and Daryl are going on pointless missions and Ezekiel's soldiers just got their arse handed to them .50 caliber style.

It's crazy, this is the first season in which I am further along in the comic books than the show and I must admit, it makes everything so much more enjoyable.

Hearing almost line-for-line adaptations from the book is impressive. And yea, the cast & events are severely altered & out of order at this point, but it's still so on point.

The attacking of the Savior outposts only lasted a single issue, maybe two, yet it's stretching along into four episodes now.

If events continue to mirror the comic, I expect Shiva to die next week, and the episode to end with Negan & gang tossing some grenades into Alexandria as Ezekiel & Carol retreat back.

As I expected last during last season Walking Dead's ratings have fallen well below 10 million viewers and is now as low as season 2 ratings. Will be interesting to see how far they fall as the season progresses.

The series continues to be badly written, paced, edited, and directed. But I see them going in a new direction. They are setting up some sort of split among Rick's group. Daryl, Tara, Morgan are not going to be onboard with the dumbass idea of keeping Saviors alive.

The problem is the series is yet again just switching characters personalities in very unnatural ways. Morgan is suddenly rabid. Jesus suddenly thinks he can boss everyone around. Rick is having another of his personality twists and wants to be a 'good guy' again. Daryl has turned into a heartless guy who just wants to kill people. They are doing all of that to set up a conflict but even though the idea might be cool, the writers are too amateur to pull it off.

Nothing on the series makes sense. Negan has more people than Rick's group but his people are spread out and getting wiped out. Negan threatened the other groups before but once they stood up to him he does not use his numbers to go after any of them. So when see these long boring shootouts and it looks like Negan's group has lost 50-100 guys.

In the clip Rick is trying to get to the other group because they have the big artillery. But why don't they have radios? They have infinite guns, fuel, water, running vehicles but no longer have radios?

This series will never improve unless Gimple, Kirkman and Gale Ann Hurd are thrown out of it and new creators are brought in who ignore the comics and go in fresh. new directions. That will never happen. Instead Gimple, Kirkman, Hurd will stumble on and ultimately blame the demise of the series on it's aging. They will never take responsibility for their incompetence.

@ManDeth - From what i hear Kirkman hasn't been involved since that lawsuit they filed against AMC for profits earlier this year. Yeah and the show makes no sense.

@krayzeman - He's even more involved since the start of season 5. That is when Gimple became head writer. They ended the Terminus story very quickly then started doing stupid ass shit like wasting Beth. Eventually they began trying to closely adapt the comic book because both thought it would appease the fans. They and fans overestimated the Alexandria story and Negan. People were acting like Negan was Darth Vader and the Alexandria stuff was cool. Then we see it and Alexandria, The Kingdom the Saviors suck and Negan is a boring idiot who thinks he's funny.

The show would be better if it wrapped up the Alexandria story and put Rick's group back on the road. There is no point in doing Negan in jail or the Whisperers. That stuff will be even worse than what is going on now.

Why is Ezekiel's acting so campy and bad? Just posturing like he's in Shakespeare in the park all the time. Cringe whenever he "speaks" (shouts)

Wish I could quit this show. After every episode now I say thats it, enough is enough. It's terrible. But it's 7 years of my life invested in this. Keep hoping it will become great again like season 1. Absolutely hate it but can't wait for the next episode. :(

@MarvelousMarty - I agree. I think killing Rick off would do it for me and he's not even my favorite character.
