Immediately following tonight's episode of The Walking Dead, Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick announced that Lennie James would be reprising his role as Morgan Jones for the upcoming fourth season of Fear The Walking Dead.
Yes, that means that Morgan will be leaving the main show, and it also means that it probably won't be in one piece.
"From the very first moment the whole suggestion of Morgan going over to Fear the Walking dead, the hardest part of that, from beginning to now, has been leaving The Walking Dead," James said in a statement. "Leaving that cast, leaving that crew. I've said my goodbyes to the cast and I've said my goodbyes to the crew. … That show stands or falls on the back of that crew. And I'm going to miss them very much."
Morgan has gone from ruthless killer, to man of peace, and right back to being a killer again over the last 2 seasons of The Walking Dead, so it's going to be very interesting to see how his story finally wraps up.
Tell us, are you happy Morgan will now appear as a series regular of FTWD, or would you rather he'd stuck around bit longer on The Walking Dead? Let us know in the usual place.
