Big things are coming to The Walking Dead later this year based on the synopses below, and they're going to make comic book fans very happy. In episode six - titled "Swear" - it's said that, "Someone stumbles upon a brand new society, and this society is unlike anything seen before." This could be a nod to Oceanside, but that would mean the show is introducing them much earlier than the comics. Instead, it's likely that this is a reference to Rick Grimes stumbling across Ezekiel and The Kingdom.
Episode seven meanwhile is titled "Sing Me A Song," and if you know anything about the comic books, you'll realise that's a reference to what happens after Carl sneaks into the Sanctuary and ends up being given a tour by Negan. The villain forces the youngster to remove his bandages and sing him a song, though it is of course possible that the captive Daryl will end up taking his place in this episode. "A deeper look at the Sanctuary and the world of the Saviors; members of Alexandria look for supplies."
Finally, episode 8 is called, "Hearts Still Beating." The synopsis for that one says, "Negan’s unwelcome visit to Alexandria continues as other members scavenge for supplies; things quickly spin out of control." That has to be a reference to what happens when Negan pays a visit to Alexandria while Rick is a way and ends up spilling Spencer's guts all over the floor. The stage has been set for him to betray Rick after that dressing down he received, so expect him to be brutally dispatched in this instalment.
