Bummed to not see much discussion about the Doctor, but very much appreciate the article!

3 episodes in and this season is so far far better than last season. Anyways, I was a little disappointed Under the Lake didn't turn out to be a Sea Devil episode.

@MrPagBrewster

The episode wasn't even written by Moffat.... Moffat isn't a good writer, but he's not terrible.

With Doctor Who there always seems to be something lacking but so far i've enjoyed this season the most since the first one of Matt Smith.... Then season 6 and 7 were total lack lusters, 50th was incredible; Christmas was okay. Then the 8th series and Christmas were again lack lusters. This one started off with Davros for Christ sake its been so far a good season... And there's not going to be a break either. Good. Back to how it should be!

@MrPagBrewster Sadly, my favorite part of season 8 was when Clara's boyfriend died. I actually got out of my seat and cheered. And then became depressed again when even in death, he stayed on the show. Forest of the Night has got to be one of the lowest points in recent memory of Doctor Who for me. I'm still scratching my head on how that even made it passed the scripting stage.
