While it doesn't look as if Manu Bennett's Deathstroke will return for the eighth and final season of
Arrow, the villain's legacy still lives on in the year 2040, thanks to the Deathstroke Gang operating out of Star City.
And now, courtesy of a new clip from
Entertainment Weekly, we have our first look at the gang's leader, John Diggle Jr., who will be portrayed by
Russian Doll star Charlie Barnett.
The seventh season of
Arrow introduced viewers to J.J.'s nefarious organization, but aside from a few references, the group ultimately had little impact on the story. However, it appears that will all change in the upcoming eighth season, and as you can see in the clip below, J.J. doesn't have the same moral compunctions as his more heroic parents.
The final season of
Arrow will premiere Tuesday, October 15 and will see Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Rick Gonzalez, Juliana Harkavy and more return to reprise their roles.
