ARROW: New Details On Return Of 'Deathstroke'; "He's Out For Blood" In The PRESENT Day

Thought Slade Wilson would only be showing up in a flashback? Think again! Manu Bennett's Deathstroke is going to make his presence felt in the present day, and it sounds bloody! We also have news on Vinnie Jones' Brick, and what's to come for some of the supporting characters...

Though Ra's al Ghul is a pretty huge DC Comics villain in the grand scheme of things, season three's big bad has still so far paled in comparison to the magnificent Manu Bennett as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke in the last season of Arrow. He'll thankfully be back to shake things up later this season, and TV Line caught up with showrunner Andrew Kreisberg to get the scoop of Slade's return to The CW series. "Slade is definitely [resurfacing] in the present day," he reveals. Will he be happy to learn to of Oliver's demise? "Not that he’s ever happy, but he’s particularly unhappy. When he comes back, he’s out for blood." The site also have some additional details on Vinne Jones' Danny "Brick" Brickwell, revealing that the actor told them that he has a fight scene with an actress who jumps from a window and dangles from a helicopter above. Black Canary?

As for those much talked about scenes between Felicity and Thea, Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim reveals that those will now air a little later this season, but teased: "Felicity having scenes with Laurel that are really terrific. As Felicity said in Episode 3 of this year, she didn’t even think they were friends, so it’s kind of fun to watch these two women who are so different from each other interact. Felicity’s got some words of wisdom to impart to Laurel, and has a perspective that is somewhat unique." What do you guys think about these latest details?

@YafiszKhan The prision is run by Argus, not Oliver.

Yafis, he's in an ARGUS prison. I don't think it's Oliver's job to feed them.

Obviously you do not watch the show and if you do it means you cannot comprehend anything beyond the level of Sesame Street.

Manu Bennett as Deathstroke is one of my all time favorite TV show villains. He is just so intimidating and all around bad ass.

This is still one of my favorite scenes from Arrow.

I know it is impossible but I would love to see this deathstroke transitioning to the DCU verse... he is a real badass

Thanks. Good stuff. I haven't liked Laurel at all, but I like Cassidy. Hopefully now that Laurel has more to do and offer to the show the character will improve. I'm interested to see how it works out and trying to remain optimistic before passing judgement. It is reassuring knowing just because she suits up doesn't not mean her ascension to hero/superhero is complete. My one main issue was Sarah spent years training with the League and to do the Canary justice, it should be a long process for Laurel, unless she gains metahuman powers.
I mean Diggle had military training and has trained with Oliver for years, but he hasn't gotten a suit or a nickname and he has a family to protect, so keeping his identity and involvement with the Arrow should be a secret.

If EVER there was someone who needs to transition from TV to the DCCU, it's Manu Bennett's Deathstroke. The guy is awesome!!

@loki668 Manu Bennett's Deathstroke with a different backstory. The mirakuru Shado plot was lame and nonsensical. Did a major disservice to what was a good villain.

I don't care who they bring back or who they bring in as long as Felicity and Oliver stay together. I'm really not too fond of Laurel. I don't know how they are going to make her into some kind of super girl. For her family's sake I don't wish her any harm.

"The Return" will be the return of both Slade and Oliver. The whole episode will be mostly about Slade, and then we will get the little twist at the end where we find out Oliver is still alive (or resurrected as it were).

As much as I enjoy arrow, am I the only one who gets pissed seeing Oliver queen stand for more than a millisecond in a fight with slade Wilson? This is the man who has defeated Bruce Wayne in hand to hand combat, love arrow but I'm sorry, queen stands a snowballs chance in hell at even scratching slade. That's fact.

I agree with that. He needs his original origin and powers but, Bennett would be awesome playing him.

@Darkseid85

Here's another fact, this ISN'T COMIC BOOK SLADE WILSON! This guy has never met Bruce Wayne let alone beat him in combat, he's not the guy who beat the Justice League in Identity Crisis or the guy who's been the Teen Titans arch nemesis.

So please, stop trying to shoehorn in feats from one version of a character into another and then bitch about inconsistency.
