At the end of season 6 of Arrow, Oliver Queen struck a deal that kept his teammates safe, but landed him behind bars, and if this first official poster for season 7 is any indication, the heroic vigilante has not been having an easy time of it.

Stephen Amell unveiled the key art himself over social media, along with a clever caption, “This fall, Green Is The New Black.” The poster's official tagline reads: “Revelation and repentance.”

It seems clear that Ollie will be running into a few familiar faces while incarcerated, but something tells us The Emerald Archer will be doling out just as much punishment as he receives.

Arrow season 7 will be with us on Monday, October 15th.


"There has been no shortage of close calls for Oliver Queen when it comes to protecting his Super Hero identity, but in the season six finale, he was finally backed into a corner and forced to reveal himself to the world as the Green Arrow. Looking forward to this season. Loosely adapting that Supermax idea has been on my wish list for years. Glad they are finally diving into it.

As much as I really didn't care for season 6, I'm pretty pumped for this one. They've got a great concept to build off of and interesting places to take a lot of their characters.

How many times now have we done the outing him to the public arc?

Like, would anyone be surprised by it at that point? Also - where would the show even go once he gets out? Another reversal would be kinda boring...

I want a Green Arrow and Bronze Tiger team up to escape Supermax and then later he becomes big bad. Come on CW you guys have a perfectly good Michael Jai White...and sure hes not an A List actor but the man has charisma.....he God damn black dynamite lol

@MrDandy - yeah people over look him cause of Spawn but the man is an action star and a solid actor. I think I'm gonna watch the movie again tonight. You ever watch the animated series?

@MrDandy - yes it is. It ran for two seasons on Adult Swim and had all actors reprise there roles for the voices. Its basically like the movie but alot crazier.

@knocturnalzen10 - It's been weird how Oliver could go episodes without shooting a single arrow, but now in jail he'll probably have his hands full of shafts.
