It seems the Amell cousins are quite fond of the odd practical joke! On Thursday we showed you an image that had surfaced, feauring the pair dressed up as 'Firestorm' and 'Arrow' respectively - sparking rumors that the former may in fact be in-line for a crossover appearance on Arrow. This wouldn't have been unusual at all, as many other characters from The Flash, including Barry Allen himself, have popped up on their sister show. The image in question can be found below:
However, while promoting his upcoming movie, The Duff, in a recent interview with MTV, the younger Amell cousin confessed that he had "actually just posted that as a joke" - and that Stephen was in on it too. While these rumors did ultimately end up being false, we shouldn't rule out the possibility of seeing the heroic pair together soon - even if it may only be as part of a network promo. You can check out the full interview here:
Amell then went on to talk about the possibility of seeing his character have his own spin-off, much like The Flash. While he did seem to suggest the idea of getting his own show is unlikely at the moment ("they've got a lot of shows"), he still added further support to idea of an Atom spin-off, starring Brandon Routh's popular 'Ray Palmer'.
What d'you guys think? Can you see the Amell cousins sharing the screen anytime soon, or would you rather they simply stick to their own shows. And how excited would you be for a 'Firestorm' or 'Atom' spin-off? Let us know below!
