Revealing Details On Upcoming Episodes Of ARROW, GOTHAM And THE WALKING DEAD
Some new spoilers have found their way online for three fan-favourite comic book TV shows, with news on The Penguin and The Riddler in Gotham, some major surprises in the season five premiere of The Walking Dead and details on Ray Palmer and Arsenal in Arrow...
Entertainment Weekly and TV Line have the scoop on a number of TV shows and we've rounded them all up here for you! First up is The Walking Dead. Though EW mostly just praises the upcoming season five premiere, they do drop a few intriguing hints about what we should expect from the episode. "While I can’t give too much away, I will say that the group prevents Rick from taking certain action that could come back to haunt them later. What’s scarier is that there’s a particular scene from the trailer that didn’t happen in the first episode and has me extremely nervous that the worst has yet to come." Both sites have news on Gotham too, with details on The Penguin up first. "We’ll actually see him hit town again next week. He’ll do whatever it takes not to end up in Fish Mooney’s grasp, leaving a trail of bodies in his wake and turning to new potential allies." A recent clip indicated that his new ally could be Sal Maroni, but they also reveal: "[His] reemergence may be a blessing in disguise for Gordon after someone hears whispers that he was behind Cobblepot’s murder. Good thing the Penguin isn’t really dead, right?"
Another future villain they have news on is The Riddler, and it sounds as if we'll get to see a lot more of his evolution into the famous Batman villain in the coming weeks. "Given he’s rather mild-mannered (if quirky) thus far, I asked Cory Michael Smith what might ultimately steer Edward Nigma toward his villainous destiny. 'He is incredibly well-intentioned… but he’s a little misunderstood and mistreated. He’s certainly abused by Harvey Bullock,' the actor shared. 'He’s a brilliant guy who doesn’t have much power but thinks he deserves it, so when he finally starts to taste it, he’ll want more.'" On the Arrow front, we should prepare for a surprise with Ray Palmer as it's stated that he uses some "questionable" methods to acquire Queen Consolidated and they may just involve Felicity. They also mention her new job, but we know what that is!
That's not all though as the following was also revealed about the role Arsenal will play in The CW show's third season. "Showrunner Marc Guggenheim says that Roy is more a member of Team Arrow than ever, and not just because he’s got a mod new Arsenal outfit. 'He’s really present and a member of this group, so the trio becomes a quartet,' Guggenheim explains. 'And that’s definitely true in Episode 6, [which] is a very Roy-centric episode. It speaks, in some ways, to Episode 212 ['Tremors,' in which Oliver trained his padawan]. I wouldn’t call it a sequel, but they’re thematically related.' All told, the EP says, 'What you see in Season 3 is a much more mentor/mentee, master/apprentice relationship. You really see how Oliver is training this kid to be a hero in his own right.'" What do you guys think about these latest details on the shows?
