SPOILERS: New ARROW Promo Reveals The Truth Behind The Shocking Return Of Black Canary
In the midseason finale of Arrow, Laurel Lance made her surprise return to The CW series despite dying during the show's controversial fourth season. Well, this promo reveals how hat came to pass...
Season five of Arrow has been excellent, but it took a pretty bad fourth year for us to get to that point. During those episodes, we saw the death of Laurel Lance at the hands of Damien Darhk, and that's a story decision which led to a lot of fans turning their backs on the show. After all, it meant we'd never get to see her relationship with Oliver Queen develop and meant a great female superhero was lost.
Well, the Black Canary returned in the closing few minutes of the midseason finale, but the promo below reveals that...well, that wasn't Laurel! It's a doppelganger of some sort who has actual sonic scream powers, and it's possible that this is Earth-2's Black Siren or even a version of the character from elsewhere in the Multiverse. We'll just have to wait and see, but she doesn't seem too friendly!
The big question here is whether or not this Laurel could join Team Arrow and become the version of the character we all know and love from the comics. That would surely be the best path to go down!
