In some welcome DC news, HBO Max has renewed acclaimed adult-animated series Harley Quinn for a fourth season, presumably set to debut in 2023.

However, there will be a few changes when the next season heads our way as Sarah Peters (WorkaholicsMaster of None; Nathan For You) has been named the new showrunner and been upped to executive producer. She's been a writer on the series since its inception and is currently serving in a role as consulting producer. Peters will take over the job from series creators Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker, who will remain on board as executive producers.

Season 4 will bring back the voice talents of Kaley Cuoco (Harley Quinn), Lake Bell (Poison Ivy), Ron Funches (King Shark), JB Smoove (Frank the Plant), Alan Tudyk (Clayface/The Joker), Matt Oberg (Kite Man), Christopher Meloni (Commissioner Gordon), Andy Daly (Two-Face), Diedrich Bader (Batman/Bruce Wayne), James Adomian (Bane), Sanaa Lathan (Selina Kyle), Briana Cuoco (Batgirl/Barbara Gordon), and Harvey Guillen (Nightwing).

Season 3 is currently streaming, with episode eight debuting today and its season finale set for September 15.

In season three of the biting and uproarious adult animated comedy series, Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) wrap up their “Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour” and return to Gotham as the new power couple of DC villainy. Along with their ragtag crew – King Shark (Ron Funches), Clayface (Alan Tudyk), Frank the Plant (JB Smoove) - "Harlivy" strives to become the best version of themselves while also working towards Ivy’s long desired plan of transforming Gotham into an Eden paradise.
