The season finale of Peacemaker is now streaming on HBO Max, and James Gunn has taken to Twitter to share the official gag reel for his acclaimed The Suicide Squad spinoff for fans to enjoy over President's Day weekend.

The video features some hilarious - and raunchy - outtakes, as John Cena and his co-stars do their best to contain their laughter while filming scenes for the later episodes of the series. It looks like Gunn gave his cast a bit of freedom to improvise their dialogue (though how many off-the-cuff lines actually made it into the show is hard to say), and it results in some... unique exchanges!

It's nice to see that these guys clearly had just as much fun making Peacemaker as we had watching it.

Check out the gag reel below, but beware of some extremely NSFW language.

The finale ended on a (mostly) positive note for Peacemaker and his new pals, though that last shot clearly suggested that Smith is still not free from his father's influence and the trauma inflicted on him as a child.

The show was officially renewed for a second season, but it might be a while before we see it, as Gunn will now turn his full attention to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

It's pretty obvious Gunn had more fun working with DC than Marvel. He doesn't like restrictions, and I can't really blame him, what director does?

I loved the show. It definitely exceeded my expectations and can’t wait for season 2! Interesting to see some of the hate on this site. To each their own I guess

I saw someone say that the Justice League showing up sucks because "they were built as these great myths and now they just make jokes." Which is the fundamental misunderstanding of these characters thanks to Zach Snyder. Gunn clearly gets comics more than him. Give James Gunn the Flash or JLI

Gunn needs a co-writer to actually tweak his jokes to be funny

Cena is pretty good at improv though!

Loved the show! & it really surprised me cus my interest level was very low going into it. I'm surprised at how many people on here are negative on it. I can't wait for season 2
