There were heaps of revelations to be found in today's episode of Peacemaker, including the truth behind what really happened to Christopher Smith's brother. It turns out his father would make them fight as children to entertain him and his fellow White Supremacists, but something went wrong during one fistfight and Chris' brother, Keith, accidentally died.
While it wasn't really Peacemaker's fault, this explains the White Dragon's irrational hatred for his son. The villain decided to put Christopher down once and for all in "Stop Dragon My Heart Around," and a clash between the two followed. Their confrontation ultimately led to the former Task Force X member shooting his dad in the head in another emotional moment in James Gunn's HBO Max series.
Elsewhere, poor Murn ended up being killed by his fellow Butterflies, but the team was reunited and set off together to put an end to the aliens' plan for world domination.
That led to Peacemaker's big reveal as we learned that the "cow" feeding the Butterflies is some sort of massive alien creature. Like the Butterflies, we can't link this monster (you can see it below) to anything or anyone from the DC Comics Universe. Considering Gunn likes to pull obscure characters from the comic books, it's a little surprising that he appears to have come up with original villains for the show.
