Latest Episode Of THE FLASH Drops A Major WONDER WOMAN Easter Egg

An awful lot happened in last night's episode of The Flash, but did you spot this massive Wonder Woman Easter Egg? It could change the Arrowverse in a big way if it's more than just a simple tease!

Team Flash's battle with Savitar took a turn for the worst last night, but before that all went down, The Flash and Captain Cold broke into A.R.G.U.S. on the hunt for a power source which could be used to trap Savitar in the Speed Force. However, while the unlikely duo was bickering about Gorilla Grodd, you may not have realised they walked past a cell containing one of Wonder Woman's greatest villains.

That was a cell containing Cheetah, someone who has plagued Diana Prince for decades now.

In the comic books, Barbara Ann Minerva was an archaeologist who used an ancient ritual to turn herself into the avatar of Urzkartaga, but because she didn't meet the requirement of a virgin, she was cursed by the god, to eat only the flesh of a man. While she's occasionally worked alongside Wonder Woman, the two are enemies and are still going to war with each other in Diana's current series.

Similar to Harley Quinn's appearance in Arrow, this doesn't mean that Cheetah is necessarily coming to The Flash, but it's certainly possible. We'll just have to wait and
see, but share your thoughts below.

@ODanil - Did you even read the article? She's one of Wonder Woman's main villains.

@HeyZeusKreesto - Yes.... I think he means: Why have a Wonder Woman easter egg in the CW Flash show? What's the point?

Don't think we'll get her as she'll probably be showing up in one of the movies soon

@SimplyAz - I hope so. I think she would work better in a DC Films movie anyway. They can adapt her properly and it won't be sanitized like it would in the CW series.

@AMrSundayGirl58 - I've dropped a lot of the CW shows and would only want to see Her in a movie

What a cool easter egg. Likely just a nod to the upcoming release of WW next month but still, so hype.

IMO if Diana should exist anywhere it should be on Earth-38 since that is where it appears that the 3 Trinity JL founding members reside. Superman, all of those teasers of Batman and since the POTUS is none other than Lynda Carter the best tribute they could give to her is that she is best pals with a "wonderful" friend and also a warrior heroine.

Who knows!

@NinnesMBC - Supergirl trained with the Amazons in the comics if I remember correctly.

@kong - She did. But that was DC Films Super... I mean Post-Crisis Supergirl who is so much more badass than the TV Supergirl and would never even think of quitting using her powers to fit in. She doesn't exist in love action yet. Hopefully in a future Man of Steel or (if we're lucky) Superman/Batman movie.

Cool easter egg. If Wonder Woman (the film) ever gets a sequel, I hope Cheetah makes it in.
