While tonight's eventful episode of The Flash saw Frost (Danielle Panabaker) make a major sacrifice to atone for her past crimes, accepting a lifetime prison sentence with no chance of parole, it'll likely be the closing moments that will have you buzzing until next week.
After spending a majority of the hour on the sideline, the episode ended with a shocking (if somewhat expected) as the Speed Force (Michelle Harrison) struck a devastating blow to Alexa Rivera, a.k.a. the Strength Force, and finally revealed her true colors to Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton).
Next week's installment will see him deal with the fallout of her decision and seek out the counsel of Timeless Wells (Tom Cavanagh). Meanwhile, Iris and Allegra (Kayla Compton) head down a dangerous road seeking answers as Cisco confides his biggest fear to Kamilla (Victoria Park).
With Tom Cavanagh recently announcing his exit from the series, the next installment will also be his first appearance this season as a special guest star, but it remains uncertain whether it'll be his final outing of the year or if there's more to come.
