THE FLASH Season 7 Poster Puts The Scarlet Speedster Front And Center; Says "The Future Favors The Fast"

The CW just dropped a new poster for The Flash's upcoming season 7, and it announces that "The Future Favors The Fast." It's a pretty cool, if somewhat generic tagline, and not one that really sheds much light on what we can expect from the series when it races back to the small screen next month.

Grant Gustin's Barry Allen is ront and centre, while he's joined by Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton), Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), and Joe West (Jesse L. Martin).

After a thrilling cliffhanger last season which saw the new Mirror Master (Efrat Dor) victorious and still-at-large in Central City, The Flash must regroup in order to stop her and find a way to make contact with his missing wife, Iris West-Allen. With help from the rest of Team Flash, which includes superheroes Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon, and Nash Wells (Tom Cavanagh), as well as the Flash’s adoptive father Joe West, Meta-Attorney Cecile Horton (Danielle Nicolet), tough cub reporter Allegra Garcia (Kayla Compton) and brilliant tech-nerd Chester P. Runk (Brandon McKnight)...Flash will ultimately defeat Mirror Master.

However, in doing so, he’ll also unleash an even more powerful and devastating force on Central City: one that threatens to tear his team - and his marriage - apart.

This is a striking piece of imagery to promote The Flash, and the Fastest Man Alive's costume looks incredible here. We don't know a huge amount about what's to come in season 7, as the plan initially will be to wrap up those dangling season 6 plot threads after that was cut short thanks to COVID-19.

They really change the costume every season just because. I’m guessing we’ll know it’s the final season when he gets the yellow boots.

Saw a Tik Tok recently that obliterated the concept of this show every season and I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time.

Basically, Barry is the fastest man alive...until HE ISN’T.

I stopped watching after season three, when it became so obvious how repetitive this show really is. And I get that comic book show like this comes of naturally light-hearten, but seriously. Most of the time, this so seemed to operate on some 80's Ninja Turtles logic.

I wish they would softly reboot this show to match what seems to be style in Superman and Lois. Lesser main characters too, Flash should be more of a solo hero than this constant huge team effort.

@Odin - the sad part is they could have spent an entire season in flashpoint instead of 2 episodes....what a waste.

@Waddles - first season of legends was disappointing but it hit its strides in seasons 2 and 3 and honestly became the most consistently entertaining arrowverse show for me.

They really should get rid of all those side characters. They should only leave the 5 characters on this poster and Wells. Get rid of everybody else already.

This shows first season was so rad. It's a shame they bogged it down with soap drama

This is wrong. Flash should be on the side and Iris should be front and center.

I think I liked a little more the previous one for S6 but it works for the Season's debut.
