THE FLASH Will Be Going Up Against The Villainous Hyrax When The CW Show Returns Next Week

The Flash races back from its midseason break on January 16, & it looks like the Fastest Man Alive is going to have more than just The Thinker to contend with when he returns to action. More past the jump.

We know Barry Allen is going to have his hands full with The Thinker when The Flash returns to our screens next week, but according to a new character breakdown courtesy of our friends over at That Hashtag Show, there's going to be another DC villain causing trouble for the Scarlet Speedster.

This time the description dispenses with disguising the identity of the character, and reveals that Veronica Dale, a.k.a. the eco-terrorist known as Hyrax, will be making her debut at some point during the second half of the season:

[VERONICA DALE] Mid 20s-30s. Female, an Environmental Activist (back when she was still sane) turned Animal Liberator turned Domestic Terrorist, who’s the leader of the Eden Corps -- a cult-like organization that proposes to turn back the clock to a pre-industrial age -- and if millions of innocent people have to die in the process, well, that's just tough...LARGE PRINCIPAL

Hyrax is more commonly associated with Green Arrow, so it'll be interesting to see how this small-screen take is introduced on The Flash.

Check out the vid below, and keep an eye out for casting news which should be coming soon.

Please, for the love of Grodd, lets have the last half of the season be great all around. Because the first half was not very good and for the most part was a continuation of the mediocrity from season 3. There was one perfect episode, the Thinker origin one, and a handful of "good" episodes, but the rest were pretty bad.

Shouldn't she be on Arrow, not Flash?

Mid season break???? What did they have 9 episodes, then went on break while CW reruns the same 9 episodes they just aired??? WTF? How do they expect anyone to stay interested in a show that pulls that crap???
