After the relative calm before the storm of last weeks episode, this second to last ep of the first season is bound to be a corker. But if the show follows the book's continuity(which it has so far pretty much to the letter)expect a mixed reaction!..



With Sansaʼs life in danger, Ned makes a fateful decision. Catelyn brokers an unsavory deal with the slippery Walder Frey. Tyrion acquires a mistress and is forced by his father to fight on the front lines. Robb wins his first major victory and captures a prized prisoner. Jon is rewarded for his valor and discovers a dark secret about Maester Aemon. As Drogoʼs wound festers, Dany defies his bloodrider Qotho and puts her trust in the enslaved witch Mirri Maz Duur.

they will just let you post anything on here anymore huh? I get somethings, but this is neither comicbook, nor movie. The Walking Dead, Smallville and other shows like that at least have the comic tie in if not a movie.

They just finished the 5th book I think, so with any luck, this show will go for at least 5 seasons

Jason Mamoa was such a bad@ss in the fight in the last episode, if he plays Conan anything like DROGO, we are gonna be in for an EPIC film!!!

This is the best book series and show EVER!! The next episode will really knock some viewers on their arses. Can't wait to see people's reaction.

such a great show cant think of any better book adaptations. I really enjoy the books on A Storm of Swords would have to say the Wheel of Time series is my fav but what a close second. Winter is coming but still A LONG WAIT.

Other than sports and the occasional news broadcast I don't see on the web, this is the only thing I watch on TV. Awesome show.

This show is incredible. I wish I had caught on to the books sooner. This is a great series translated into truly great TV, and I'm so glad its HBO instead of some watered down primetime network. It is gonna be a VERY long wait until Season 2. I think the only problem is whether HBO will actually do 7 complete series and complete the story. It wouldn't be the first time that a good HBO series just fell apart. So far the fan reaction has been really positive, but that doesn't mean much to HBO. I really hope they see it through to the end.

@Blank. There are comics that take place in Westeros before the events of the show.

Its been fantastic so far and all hell is fixing to break loose. Can't wait!

I've got to say I was really upset about Syrio's death. The character hasn't been in many episodes but he has been a joy and sort of reminded me of one of my kickboxing instructors.
I wonder how Tyrion Lannister is going to take being on the front lines. By his own admission, he is not fighter. However, he has had one of the best lines, "I want to die in my bed, with a belly full of wine and a woman's mouth round my cock."
I am intrigued to see how the supernatural element develops as it has so far been a fantasy in a realistic setting.

Great show.
