Sophie Turner Says Sansa Stark Will Be Going On A "Power Trip" In Season 7 Of GAME OF THRONES

Fans became worried that Sansa would turn against her brother (or should that be cousin?) Jon towards the end of Game of Thrones season 6, & based on Sophie Turner's comments here, maybe they should be.

Poor Sansa Stark was put through the ringer ever since she left Winterfell back in the very first episode of Game of Thrones, but season 6 signaled a big change for the character as she finally began to play the game, and exacted a gruesome revenge against the sadistic Ramsay Bolton.

However, this may have brought out a darker side to the eldest Stark girl, as it looked like she might be allowing Littlefinger to cloud her judgment and succeed in driving a wedge between her and Jon Snow in the S6 finale.

Does Sansa see herself as the rightful Queen in the North? Here's what X-Men: Apocalypse actress Sophie Turner had to say to EW when quizzed about her character's season 7 arc.

She’s seemingly in control for the first time – and it really suits her. She’s kind of having a bit of a power trip. But she’s also becoming more insecure, because there are threats to the power that she holds. What overall excites me about this season is that main characters are coming together and it feels like things are ramping up. It’s really exciting and all feels like it’s coming to a big conclusion."

Here's hoping Arya shows up and smacks some sense into her! Game of Thrones returns next year, and you can check out the first official images from its seventh season here.

@TheNewGuy123

Looks underwhelming its basically just 'kill people or die' and because of how the numbers work, each time people will be justified in there logic of killing the smaller amount to save the larger amount. The psychological aspect is gone because the killers would be justified and they are being forced to do it because they will explode otherwise.

Only question is; how do they end it?

Looking at the trailer it appears they volunteered for this or were selected for this. So the ending is probably going to reveal some twist that everyone was selected for a reason. The comments about the metal not melting hint towards it possibly being alien or futuristic based.

Either way, isn't particularly a new concept given the trailer and not seeing anything yet to really justify a watch.

@Scarilian - I'll probably wait 'til On Demand for this, which is disappointing because the cast is solid and I like the people that are making the movie.

@Scarilian - I have a friend who saw a cut of the film at a festival. They said it was funny, suspenseful and a riot of a time!

This shit is plenty interesting, but remember: there is only one who truly deserves to sit in the Iron Throne.

Sansa vs Jon won't happen next season. Jon will be too busy to even hang around Winterfell.

I think Sansa is definitely going to die. I just hope she doesn't become an antagonist to Jon and teams up with Littlefinger. I feel like he's going to lead her to her death.

I hate the character - her stupidity is what brought down the Stark family to begin with. To be fair, though, if anyone has a reason to become a messed up villain it's her.
