Born in Northampton,England in 1953 Alan Moore the self proclaimed "Wizard" has had quite the life...He has written a novel,performs spoken word pieces,sold LSD,was in a band,has released stuff on cd & practices magic, but is most famous for his influential work in comics creating such classics as Watchmen,V for Vendetta,From Hell & The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Moore has worked for both Marvel & DC, writting for such legendary characters as Batman,Superman & Swamp Thing. Mr.Moore has won the Jack Kirby award numerous times also winning the Will Eisner award nine times since 1988.
