Hayley Atwell sat down with CBR and discussed why Howard Stark will help develop the story-line for Agent Carter going forward, "He sets in motion one mission which we think is going in one direction -- that's what's very exciting." She then how this season will take many twist and turns, "Just when you think you know what this season is about and the direction it's going to go in, it goes somewhere else. This is not a formulaic show whereby we solve a case a week." She then adds, "It has a very strong arc. It has its climaxes, and it details what she goes through."

She was then asked whether or not Agent Carter will tie-in with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. or other films in the MCU, she responded, "It stands alone. It's very different from "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and the Peggy that you see in our series is very different from the cameo performances that I've had in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." She then says again that Agent Carter is its own show, while saying it does tie-in with other films. "It's really its own piece, but yet, obviously, because it's Marvel, it's interlinked with lots of the different worlds -- "Captain America" and "Ant-Man."  To see more of what Hayley had to say about Peggy's life, Steve Rogers and more, hit the link below! Hank would be 2 at the time of the series, so no.

@LMB10, we don't know the age that Pym has in the MCU. Douglas was born in 1944, but Pym could be older.

Maybe Hank is older than we thought in Ant-Man. Like Prof. X and Magneto in DOFP

Nothing about this show as piqued my interest. I'm going to have to pass and just wait for the gifs of her on here.

Someone involved in AC said that if the show is successful, each season will tackle a different time era. 1950s, 60s and onwards into the 1980s when Carter retires as *SPOILER* Director of SHIELD.

Still hoping Fonseca isn't an ordinary actress in the show. Maybe she's a fashion designer. LOL Btw, it's her birthday on the 7th.

@craigferguson You must be a special kind of stupid desperately searching for something to complain about. Falcon has been perfectly represented in The Winter Soldier and Fury is a core part of the MCU having more appearances than anyone else. Plus Black panther is only being introduced now and he's already a main character in Civil War and has his own movie on the way. Finally they're creating an entire show about a black character who you've already mentioned, Luke Cage. Marvel have been making movies for 7 years now, significantly less than other companies and already have 6 black superheroes. Next time check your facts before you act all self righteous.

I'm really interested in how Agent Carter and SHIELD connects with Ant-Man. Really liking the idea that Marvel is building a bridge between Cap's experiences during WWII and the current state of the MCU.

If SHIELD had Hank involved in the early Avengers Initiative back in the '60's -we could have superheroes like Hank and Jane back then and Nick Fury could had reenaged the program in 2008 when he approached Tony back in the 1st Iron Man.

If hank appears in this show he should atleast be... In his early twenties? Present day (In Antman) he should be around 50-60 years old? Idk I may be waayy off. When does this show take place again? (exact Year)
