In a nice length interview with Comic Book Resources, Lyndsy Fonseca tells the bond she thinks her character, Angie, has with Peggy Carter,"I think that it's really important that our characters never betray jealousy or cattiness." She then continues, "There's nothing but just support and interest and friendship, because a lot of times it's more complicated than that on shows." She then says that there always a point in time where you want to be a girl's friend, "There's always like this backhanded thing or something's happening, and it's like sometimes in life you just like some girl and you want to be their friend, you know what I mean?" She then adds, "You just want to be some girl's friend! It doesn't have to be that crazy, and that's pretty much what this is."

Lyndsy then tells how it feels to work with the Marvel Cinematic Universe and how a strong female role has a great significance, "Marvel is a big universe, so all I can [discuss] is my experience with the show, but I've got to say, it's woman power, you know, with Peggy." She elaborates by saying that she thinks young girls really need to see a strong female character like Peggy, "Two women showrunners write a show that is not just being cliché -- they're really, truly writing a strong female, and I think that girls need to see that."

I'm sure many of you watch Agent Carter. For those of you who do, what do you think Lyndsy Fonseca's character is providing to the show now, and moving forward? Sound off below with your thoughts!

Wouldnt it be great if this show suddenly moved to present day, and it all just turned out to be a prequel to The Golden Girls?

I can't wait for AOS to come back but Agent Carter is a great show and i concur, as a woman, it's great for females, young and old, to have such great representative leading roles for us.

I like that Marvel is giving us Agent Carter, AKA Jessica Jones and even AOS where every single female character (Skye, Melinda, Mockingbird, Raina) are in the frontline.

The are strong female characters of different generation casted in interresting roles representing different ethnicities.
